Upon meeting Lin you quickly realise how controlling she can be - Lin hates handing control over, when things don't go to plan or even just when an assumption she had doesn't turn out right. She easily gets stressed and irritable when Lin feels she lacks even a bit of control - often over very minor events.
Having matured quite early on, Lin takes quite an experienced approach to most matters. She will actively warn individuals when they're about to do something dangerous or silly - but when they don't listen to her, she makes no move to help in the aftermath. Lin lacks a certain sense of entitlement or commitment to those around her - should others reject or dismiss her first attempt then she believes she's done all she can and leaves the individual be. Lin rarely has the time of thought to waste on those she deems to be lost causes.

Summary
Lin is the overprotective, overly caring and exceptionally nosey mother in the group. Her controlling nature means she likes - needs - to be involved and will be exceptionally judgemental every time you act irresponsibly or in any way she wasn't expecting you to. In turn, she's also someone the group feels they can go to when they have a serious problem, need to rant or just want to have a cry to. Her caring and motherly nature usually leads to a hug and with Lin, you know she'll do her best to help solve your problems.
When Lin's patience does run out - entirely - she can say things she doesn't mean more often than not. Whilst she doesn't mean to, Lin can take quite a toxic tone and say things much crueler in the heat of the moment. This is a rare occurrence thanks to her high tolerance; but even if it's only stress that's built up over weeks of irritation, it's not something anyone wants to have to experience.
Knowledge is exceptionally important to Lin. She loves finding out more on substances, plants or even just landscapes she hasn't come to grips with yet. This tied in with her cautious personality does mean Lin takes precautions - be it testing a multitude of possibilities to determine if an object is poisonous or plotting out a mutlitiude of routes to a single location, Lin and her perfectionist tendencies require testing every possible theory.
Random Facts
• Lin isn't very playful - unsurprisingly - so on the rare occasion she gets excited, it's usually due to a worldly phenomenal. Adoring the northern lights, meteor showers, waterfalls and the worldly wonders; Lin doesn't get excited often, but when she does, you know she's witnessed something absolutely gorgeous - maybe even a miracle.
• While Lin isn't much for 'fun', she isn't one to pass up on sarcasm or the odd joke. If she's in a good mood, prepare for some snarky remarks when you do something deemable of those remarks. These are usually quite light and easy going - unlike when some of the others tend to go overboard.

Angela
Lin treats Angela a lot like her own child. Or at the very least, someone who needs to have an eye kept on them. She adores how friendly and open Angela can be, but her lack of self restraint and thought before she acts causes Lin no end of worry. Angela usually feels calm and safe around Lin, someone she knows she can always snuggle up against as Lin admires the scenery. When Angela is unsure of something, Lin is one of the few individuals she feels she can confide in without fear of judgment. Whilst Angela can worry about disappointing Lin, in truth Lin admires Angela's self confidence and often ponders if she should try and be a tad more impulsive compared to how she overthinks even small problems. Lin resents how scruffy Angela can be, however, and will often drag her off to be groomed.
Neve
Neve and Lin, whilst close, do disagree more often than not. They both share very different views on life and those around them. Lin is very accepting, caring and will often try and coax or calm Neve down. It can take a lot of persuation and despite the odd snap from Neve, Lin is grateful that Neve takes note of what she says and will give her reasons behind what she did or didn't do. Neve doesn't enjoy being told what to do, but she certainly has a soft spot for Lin. Lin never holds any ill will and Neve would happily put her life on the line for Lin. At time she can get quite frustrated and lashes out at Lin accidentally, but Lin's natural patience will push that aside and never tries to guilt trip or force Neve to submit to anything. It's what Neve loves most about Lin and will happily slaughter anyone who takes a tone to her.
Rai
Lin and Rai get along rather well. They share similar outlooks on life and whilst Rai is certainly far more ambitious than Lin, she finds his thoughts intriguing and rarely tires of their talks. Lin certainly doesn't share his extreme need for perfection but does enjoy having things neatly organised. It certainly doesn't hurt having an extra set of hands to help manage their problematic group. Rai will often question Lin on her views on particular people or traits. He finds her accepting views manage to share similar themes with his own far more calculated view on those around them. When they differ, they're both more than comfortable further discussing why they feel or think that. Unlike the majority of their group, even when they have disagreements they never become heated. Lin and Rai both enjoy diplomacy and always welcome a disagreement to further their discussion.
Colt
Like parents, Lin and Colt are often trying to manage everyone. Whilst Lin takes quite a soft and understanding approach, Colt often steps in after to bring down the hammer on whatever dumbass is being a butt pain. Lin doesn't always agree with Colt's methods and will do her best to keep him in a good mood compared to his usual grump. But she appreciates that even with his bad moods, he's always generally polite and Lin thinks Colt is definitely an example that should be followed. Sometimes. The duo are both early wakers and usually spend the early mornings sat in a comfortable silence, just doing their own thing. They enjoy eachothers company and undeniably have a fair deal of trust in one another. Lin often confers in Colt when she's unsure of something, and if Colt is worried he's being too harsh, he'll often turn to Lin. They both share a lot of similarities and enjoy what small talks they manage between the group ruckus.
