CURIOUS • EMPATHETIC • HOPEFUL

From first impressions, Vin may come off as rather timid and quiet, often only speaking the essentials in conversations. This comes from the fixation on his obscure life objective, as he feels he can't spend too much time interacting with others in favour of trying to find what he is meant for. While this can come across as cold, it is something irrational about his existence.

However, if you meet him on more than one occasion, he will have no trouble remembering you, and will become increasingly friendly an talkative. Even if he believes he has to follow an unforseen destiny, he still holds strong interpersonal connections close to him. If you wish, he will even bring you across space and the dimensions between it to visit interesting places he frequents.

Vin is a mystical and obscure character, but one with a solid sense of companionship. He may leave for years and come back as if it were a few days. He is generous, compassionate and can show his own unique wit. If you enjoy his company as much as he enjoys yours, he will definitely be a friend for life.

EARLY LIFE

Vindemiatrix was born as Epsilon Virginis, created in a far off region in space. A cosmic deity, a patron of the stars, had become pregnant with the child of a mortal man. Vin, while excessively needy as a child, also appeared very vacant to the happenings around him. He had accelerated growth, and reached physical adulthood in half the time a human would. He was innocent to the contents of the universe, and without a word, he one day left the care of his parent.

Not too long after starting his destinationless journey, Vin discovered he could create portals to different parts of the universe, as well as different regions of the multiverse. He explored without incentive, spending years upon years of his life experiencing different phenomenon and people. But something in the back of his mind knew what he was doing wasn't what he was meant for. His surveying and curiosity for the things around him were merely hobbies. He had a greater purpose. But what that unknown place was was unknown to him. No part of his ever-expanding array of knowledge could pinpoint what it was.

Yet, even when faced with an existential feeling of finding purpose in existing, Vin wandered.

PRESENT

While on his journey for purpose, Vin has made an extensive list of acquaintances and friends. Mortals, gods and goddesses, people of unknown species and other dimension hoppers such as himself. With these friends he has learned a lot about enjoying the time he is handed. Creating, eating delicious food, gaining other skills, learning to communicate, eating more food, and contemplating more things other than his purpose. Even if he is eventually drawn back to wandering the mostly empty darkness of space, he is content with knowing he has places to return to if he ever feels lost.
