Legendary/Mythic Pokemon

Legendary and Mythic pokemon are of the same elk and act as the primal guardians of the world or gods. 

There are two types.

True Legendry/Mythics: These are the primal guardians/gods of the world. They possess incredible power and there is only one of each in existence at a time.

False Legendary/Mythics (need a better term then False): These are not primal guardians or gods. These are weaker offspring or copies of the True Legendary/Mythics. They lack the world altering powers of their True cousins and are no more powerful then any other pokemon.

With the True Legendaries being god like beings many are connected to domains and as such have followings.

Arceus: Creator Long ago there was an egg. From that egg came Arceus the first being. There existed nothing and so he created the Creation Trio, starting with Dialga to begin the flow of time, then  Palkia to create space and matter, and finally Giratina to balance time and space and create the laws of physics. Following the creation of the universe he created Mew to bring life to the universe. And with the creation of Mew he then created the Lake Trio Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf to bring emotional depth to Mew's creations.

Dialga: Time Dialga governs the flow of time.

Palkia: Space Palkia governs space. He is the original creator of the celestial bodies and is able to open rifts to other pocket dimensions and folds of reality.

Giratina: Antimatter/Gravity/Balance Giratina was created as the guardian of antimatter, the balancer between Dialga and Palkia, but due to its violence early in life it was banished to a Distortion or Mirror world by Arceus. Here he continues to safe guard the balance of the universe within his pocket dimension as his pocket dimension is a distorted mirror of the real world. He has sense learned compassion.

Mew: Creation Mew is the overseer of the planet that we are focused on. She is the being that rules over the planet. She is known for kindness, child like wonder, and ancient power. She created all of the legendaries of the world unless otherwise stated.

Mewtwo: Cloning/Outcast Cloned from Mew, Mewtwo lacks the ancient power of the other legendaries but has the newer power of science and genetic engineering from the modern age. Due to being vastly different they consider themselves an outcast and is sometimes followed by other outcasts.

Uxie: Knowledge Uxie brings knowledge to those of the world.

Mesprit: Emotion Mesprit brings emotions to those of the world.

Azelf: Willpower Azelf brings willpower to those of the world.

Rayquaza: Sky/Atmosphere Rayquaza safe guards the sky and balances Kyogre and Groudon, keeping them from destroying the world through their fights.

Kyogre: Water/Hydrosphere Kyogre created the water of the world and protects it. Kyogre created the original Manaphy.

Groudon: Land/Lithosphere Groudon created the ground portion of the world and protects it. Groudon created Regigigas through its land manipulation.

Manaphy: Sea Manaphy is the prince of the sea and assists Kyogre in protecting its waters. Manaphy can breed and normally produces Phione.

Regigigas: Continental Drift He moved the continents around and pulled them into place. He is the creator of the Legendary Titans.

Regirock: Rock/Stone Age Considered a guardian of Rock Type pokemon and to symbolize the Stone Age.

Regice: Ice/Ice Age Considered a guardian of Ice Type pokemon and to symbolize the Ice Age.

Registeel: Steel/Iron Age Considered a guardian of Steel Type pokemon and to symbolize the Iron Age.

Regidrago: Dragon/Dark Age Considered a guardian of Dragon Type pokemon and to symbolize the Dark Age.

Regieleki: Electric/Modern Age Considered a guardian of Electric Type pokemon and to symbolize the Modern Age.

Lugia: Ocean Currents/Air Currents/Wind. Lugia is known for creating great winds, as well as the wellspring of the world which brings life fulfilling waters to the world. She created the Legendary Birds who help it safe guard the wellspring of the world.

Articuno: Ice Member of the Legendary Birds. Combined with Moltres's fire they create the source of the world's oceans.

Zapdose: Electric Member of the Legendary Birds. Their electrical energy creates the currents and streams of the world's oceans.

Moltres: Fire Member of the Legendary Birds. Combined with Articuno's Ice they create the source of the world's oceans.

Shadow Lugia: Corruption A shadow copy of the True Lugia, whose heart has been tainted by darkness. It is rumored to have created the Galarian Legendary Birds.

Articuno (Galar): Psychic Member of the Galarian Legendary Birds.

Zapdos (Galar): Fighting Member of the Galarian Legendary Birds.

Moltres (Galar): Dark Member of the Galarian Legendary Birds.

Ho-Oh: Rebirth/Purity Ho-Oh is known for rebirth and resurrection. They are known to seek those who are pure of heart. They created the Legendary Beasts who were once mortal Pokémon that guarded its roost within the Brass Tower and died in the fire which consumed it.

Raikou: Electric/Thunderstorms Member of the Legendary Beasts. Resurrected by Ho-Oh, Raikou represents the lightning that struck the Brass Tower.

Entei: Fire/Volcanoes Member of the Legendary Beasts. Resurrected by Ho-Oh, Entei represents the fire that consumed the Brass Tower.

Suicune: Water/Auroras/Purification Member of the Legendary Beasts. Resurrected by Ho-Oh, Suicune represents the rain that quenched the fire. Suicune has the power to run over and purify water.

Marshadow: Training/Guide Marshadow slips into the shadows of others to learn their fighting techniques and train. They are sometimes a guide for those chosen by Ho-Oh to become a Rainbow Hero.

Zygarde: Order Member of the Aura Trio. Zygarde safeguards the order of the ecosystem.

Xerneas: Life Member of the Aura Trio. Xerneas brings life to the world around it. It is considered the being of creation.

Yveltal: Destruction Member of the Aura Trio. Yveltal destroys and consumes life from the world around it. It is considered the being of destruction.

Celebi: Time Travel/Forests Guardian of forests, they can exist anywhere in time and are thought to assist Dialga in protecting the flow of time.

Victini: Victory/Energy/Luck Victini is known for its unlimited energy and to bring good luck to those around it.

Landorus: Earthy Fertility/Agriculture Master of the Forces of Nature Trio. Brings fertility to soil and crops.

Tornadus: Cyclones/Tornadoes Member of the Forces of Nature Trio. Personification of Cyclones and Tornadoes.

Thundurus: Lightning Storms Member of the Forces of Nature Trio. Personification of Lightning Storms.

Latias: Femininity Member of the Eon Duo. Latias is thought to symbolize the feminine side and female power.

Latios: Masculinity Member of the Eon Duo. Latios is thought to symbolize the masculine side and male power.

Jirachi: Wishes Every thousand years they wake for 7 days and grant wishes.

Cresselia: Good Dreams Cresselia is known for bringing good dreams and hope to sleepers.

Darkrai: Bad Dreams Darkrai is known for bringing nightmares and darkness to sleepers.

Kyurem: Emptyness The original dragon of the Tao Trio. They split into Reshiram and Zekrom leaving an empty shell or void behind.

Reshiram: Truth Member of the Tao Trio. Reshiram is said to pursue a life through truth.

Zekrom: Ideals Member of the Tao Trio. Zecrom is said to pursue a life through ideals.

Meloetta: Muse Meloetta is known for bringing inspiration to artists of all forms.

Tapu Koko: Conflict Member of the Island Guardians A very regional legendary Tapu Koko protects its island and its population.

Tapu Lele: Healing Member of the Island Guardians. A very regional legendary Tapu Lele protects its island and its population.

Tapu Bulu: Growth Member of the Island Guardians. A very regional legendary Tapu Lele protects its island and its population.

Tapu Fini: Mourning/Spirits Member of the Island Guardians. A very regional legendary Tapu Lele protects its island and its population.

Necrozma: Light Member of the Light Trio. A pokemon from a separate universe. Known to produce and share light.

Solgaleo: Sun Member of the Light Trio. A pokemon originating from a separate universe. Emissary of the sun.

Lunala: Moon Member of the Light Trio. A pokemon originating from a separate universe. Emissary of the moon.

Necrozma: Darkness Member of the Light Trio. A pokemon from a separate universe. The crippled form of Necrozma who's light was stolen from it. This form seeks to absorb the light of Solgaleo and Lunala to regain its original form.

Zeraora: Protector Zeraora is known to protect those who cannot defend themselves.

Eternatus: Eternity An alien pokemon. Produces strange immense energy.

Zacian: Unstoppable Force Member of the Hero of Many Battles Duo. Warrior who mastered the art of offence.

Zamazenta: Immovable Object Member of the Hero of Many Battles Duo. Warrior who mastered the art of defense.

Cobalion: Leadership Leader of the Swords of Justice.

Terrakion: Strength Brawn of the Swords of Justice.

Virizion: Dexterity Blade master of the Swords of Justice.

Keldeo: Resolve Youngest member of the Swords of Justice, resolved to become better.

These pokemon are no longer considered to be legendaries at all.
