Ebonry
Ebonry is a region of the Pokemon World located both within the Pokemon and Human universe and in the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon universe.
Ebonry is a unique region in that instead of introducing new species of pokemon, regional variants, or special battle gimmicks it is known for its variant, hybrid, and delta pokemon.
Years and years ago a meteor struck the region, releasing a massive magnetic pulse that is theorized to have altered the genetics of the regions Pokémon. This obliterated the restrictions of breeding between particular egg categories and allowed for significant variation in offspring.
