About

Born as the oldest sister to three younger brothers, Korenne found herself always helping around the house. As a support to her mother, she would cook, clean, and help her siblings with their class work. When having time off, she would learn craft techniques that she could then re-gift to her friends and family.

In school, she was soft spoken and was considered popular due to her kindness. She was often tossed around friend groups due to being a good listener. 

From watching MewTube videos, she found her passion in make up and fashion and went to vocational school to learn those skills. As a result, she now works with Drea as his make up assistant. Her work mainly focuses on touch ups or as a second hand, but she hasn’t grown the confidence to take charge of any projects.

Personality (in-Depth)

Despite her soft demeanor, Korenne does like going out often. She finds going to nice cafes and eateries to be relaxing whether it would be friends or by herself. She often works on small craft side projects at these locations.

Coming from a religious family, Korenne often visits chapels on weekends to leave offerings of incense and crystals for the celestial bodies in hopes of good health for her family and friends. She primarily prays to the Sugar Cube Sun.

Besides cooking, her hobbies include a lot of hands-on crafts, such as hand sewing plushies or crocheting. She’s been wanting to learn how to design her own clothes.

In late high school, she picked up baking as a hobby after visiting the school library often and eventually picking up old recipe books. Eru inspired her to try baking for the first time after Eru suggested a "good recipe on page 34," which Korenne ended up making and gifting to Eru the next week.

She is currently dating Eru, a highschool classmate and friend.

Relationships

Eru  [ Significant Other ]

Highschool classmate now lover. Korenne gained the courage to approach Eru after seeing them work at their school's library alone, and often spent time w them during lunch break as an acquaintances. When becoming closer as friends, Eru convinced Korenne to pursue her dreams of becoming a cosmetologist after high school. After completing vocational school and now working in the same shopping district, Korenne would visit Eru at their bookstore and eventually fall in love with them.

Drea  [ Boss, Friend ]

After graduating vocational school at the age of 21, Korenne landed her first job at Drea's studio as an assistant. Korenne found out that working along Drea requires Korenne to babysit assist Drea with other non-make up related tasks. On the first week of the job, she learned that he was living off of jelly packs and beer ( with him saying it’s convenient), so she took it upon herself to prepare lunch for him and herself. Now they have weekly cooking sessions after work where she stops by his place and teaches him simple recipes.

Rain  [ Friend, Eru's Significant Other ]

Met through Eru and also knowing Rain's popularity from fashion modeling. Korenne at first was stumped how a beautiful of a kit Rain was in person and was immediately star struck. After a couple of hangouts, group texts, and spending more time with Rain, Korenne learns how down to earth the model is and offers her support.

Danny  [ Friend ]

A high school classmate and Eru's friend. After Danny drops out of school, Korenne felt guilty for not approaching him earlier and lending a helping hand. In present day, Eru reconnects with Danny and encourages Korenne to visit Danny's greenhouse to get to know him better.

Ran  [ Childhood Friend ]

A childhood friend met through religion and family friends. Ran and Korenne would often spend time together as children until Ran's family stopped visiting church. Korenne is actually a big fan of BanRan's Shoujo light novels and manga, without knowing the truth behind Ran's double identity. Today, they are still good friends and connect through texting and messenger.
