Profile

Keturah Greenwood is a peculiar hybrid of a felinid and a stargazer, inhabiting the Extinction Meteor along with her good friend Reese. A skilled scientist, she got her start working as a chemist on Nanotransen stations, before- much like Reese- being briefly picked up by the Syndicate as a spy. It wasn't long after that Keturah seemed to just disappear...for in her heart of hearts, Keturah was never really loyal to either side. What was really important to her was just herself and her friends, and it was that independence that led to her, Reese, and a few other friends of theirs taking over and refurbishing the derelict station they now call home.

Keturah's...odd...appearance came from her true passion in the science field. Though she's also got some skill in chemistry and whatnot, she found that her calling was in xenobiology- taking care of the alien species known as slimes, and their strange, unstable nature. To her, it was great fun; raising slimes until they split, and extracting from them their alien compounds, reacting in a plethora of different ways to various different materials. In fact, it was one of those compounds that turned her into what she is now; a chemical reaction with green slime extract and plasma, an ingestion of the resulting reagent, and one bubbling transformation later, Keturah was transformed from an ordinary felinid into a slimeperson. Specifically, she became a stargazer, a psychic slimeperson able to link minds with the rest of the station. Keturah is mindlinked with everyone on the station, in fact, and can communicate telepathically with them whenever she pleases!

Keturah's slimeperson body metabolizes toxins exceptionally well, while being severely damaged by chemicals that are medicinal for humans. This means that she can heal from things that are poisonous to her stationmates, but it also means that she can get absolutely hammered at the bar and be fine afterward. Don't give her bastion bourbon, though.
