The Devendra ( prajna(ｒ))

Also known as Sibnig Shreya

Currently the leader of the Troll Empire and has been for quite some time. He has been, in his mind, a fair and just ruler, implementing harsher penalities to those who abuse mutants and coveted limebloods, giving them protections that are above their station, but should still have.

For most of his sweeps, he's been in a pissing contest with the Diamond Authority of the Gem Homeworld. So when a heir came aknockin' on his control room on Khephri, he decided that it might not be a bad way to deal with two problems at one time.

The Criminal ( azeban)

Also known as Rupahn Arsene.

A gentleman thief who delighted in "repossessing" items owned by the Troll Nobility, and then pawning them off on the black markets or sending them to other trolls (The Devendra will never admit it, but he was rather amused at finding The Couhrier's Royal Mail Satchel Hat in the intergalactic mail a half sweep after it disappeared under "mysterious circumstances").

A romaticized version of him appears in a number of The Xpositor's novellas

The Carouser ( beraht)

Also known as Coburn Voight.

A narsiccistic playboy who often accompanied The Criminal on his heists, well known for using both his psychic abilities and his fast shooting powress to get The Criminal out in a pinch.

In the Xpositor's novels, he switches between beleaguered sidekick to love interest, to his own protaganist. 

The Apotheke (chalys)

Also known as Dichau Choppe

A well known healer who was the first to be indentured into The Devendra's service after the laws were written when she was a wriggler. Her psychic ability to heal with a touch (in truth, she transferred wounds to her own body) were so potent that trolls would travel sweeps just to see her. Upon her death, The Devendra saintified her, making her the True Priestess of Seitaat.

The Xpositor ( parvin)

Also known as Keflea Dromer

A well known and well traveled writer whose travel books and novels are still read today on Versis. Very little is known about him as a troll, but his words continue to live on in the tomes he wrote about the world of Versis as it was in his time. He's met and interviewed all the other ancestors here (living for over 40 sweeps helps a lot with that) and is probably the only troll in existance who had a conversation with Rupahn without finding his goods taken (admitidly, that might have been due to the fact that all he had on him was the pen and pad he was using, as the interview occured in a hotspring)

Reports of his death have been many and exaggerated. Seeing as no body has ever been found, it is purported that The Xpositor is still alive and writing, but under psuedonyms and aliases. Over his time, he has made enemies of plenty of people, even the Empire itself. 

The Security ( Serkan Voldet)

Also known as Heyjii Voldet

A detective who spent his short life chasing after The Criminal in an attempt to bring the thief to justice. Despite his noble cause, he was often abrasive towards the thief's victims (often calling them out for being so stupid as to get stolen from) and his superiors (whom he thought were doing a poor job at their jobs).

In The Xpositor's novellas, he fluctuates between being an atagonist to reluctant protaganist.  

The Linender ( Timapr)

The Affrayer The Catalyst (Teotui Ravnek)

Also known as Thanos Aminah

A traveler who incited (incites?) turmoil wherever he goes. His actions of culling mutants and lowbloods, including one that was well pitied by the Devendra, caused the stricter laws protecting lowbloods and the system of indentured service to be born on Versis. 

Prior, he was a well loved ruffiannihaltor of the Empire, but his actions lost him the Emperor's good will. 

He and the Xpositor do not get along; in fact, the Xpositor coined the name Catalyst to remove his rank.

The Returned  (The Revenant) ( medzio)

Also known as ??? Jungin

A troll who was captured by the Diamond Authority, didn't break, and then fought his way back home. He was pitied by The Devendra and they probably would have been quadrant mates had The Catalyst not killed him. The Xpositor writes him as a tragic hero.
