Penta

 The way I live my life is simple; kicking ass and getting laid, am I right?   

A reckless poltergeist with a thirst for adventure and a disregard for her actual job. She claims to be a monster hunter, and doesn't like to be told what to do.

     Appearance  

She has olive skin and ashen deep burgundy hair, one half tied with a low ponytail, and the other half with messy locks of hair. Her fringe has a straight cut, styled up on its sides. Her eyes are orange with yellow lights on them, and a yellow star on her pupils. She has a slim aquiline nose, marked eyebags and various piercings. Her blood is glittery, looking very similar to a starred sky.

Her most apparent feature, though, is that her torso lacks any kind of flesh, so only her ribs, spine and part of her coccyx can be seen. Her hands also lack flesh; any other part of her body does not. She's often wearing gloves, but she likes to go around with clothes that won't cover up her torso. The connections between exposed bone and flesh look like very seriously burnt, scarred flesh.

     Personality  

Penta tries to be a cool person, hence the fact that she doesn't cover up her exposed bones. She likes to shock people and seem 'hardcore' enough. And well, she might be.

She has a thirst for adventure and adrenaline. She does things she likes, no matter if they're morally okay or not. She's bad at dealing with her emotions, and also with personal issues that compromise her too much. She's reckless and gets too nervous about responsibilities to face them, preferring to fade away rather than assuming responsibility. She knows some things she does aren't right, but either she can't stop doing them, or she doesn't care. She's lazy and laid-back, but can be determined if she's excited enough about a topic.

Even if she's not entirely comfortable with romantic affection, she can be caring of the people around her- almost like a mother, but it's still rare if she's touchy feely with someone even in a platonic way (not impossible, though).

She pictures herself as a tough person who works alone, and if you wanna join her, you gotta be as tough as she is. Or as reckless as she is. Being in the same team as her would be a pain- You either have her as the leader or she'll do whatever she wants anyway and get everyone in danger.

     Powers/Skills  

As a poltergeist, she's able to manipulate ectomatter into any shape she wants, as long as she knows how it works. The quantity of the ectomatter she uses for objects is tied to her ectoenergy, so she can't go overboard too often. She's also able to control other objects that aren't made by her, but to a lesser level.

She chose to become skilled in making guns out of ectomatter, she's studied them and can make them in seconds, even in mid-air. The bullets she shoots with those guns are made of ectoenergy rather than ectomatter, but still affect her ectoenergy altogether.

The next level of her ability is transforming that energy into elements, but she doesn't have enough patience to train that, so she can't use that ability yet.

She's very, very strong and has a lot of endurance.

Like every other ghost, she's able to phase through things, levitate, and do spooky things in general.

     Backstory  

She was a college student before her death. She had a somewhat good reputation, a significant other and all- but she lacked excitement. She always wanted to do something exciting with her life. She liked her career, though; science was always cool.

It wasn't cool enough, but she was pretty satisfied with her life. She definitely was planning to turn her life around at some point and do exciting things- after she graduated, and all.

But unfortunately, she suffered an awful chemical accident, which immediately killed her and dissolved her flesh.

She came back as a ghost, and like the usual- she doesn't actually remember anything about her past. What she does have in her mind is to have a kickass afterlife with no strings attached to her. She used to wear two pigtails but she cut one of them and put on makeup so she'd look exactly how she wanted to. The exposed bones were a plus. They were very cool.

Due to her ghost powers, which were being able to materialize things as long as she knew exactly how they worked, made her immediately learn how to materialize guns. She decided she was going to be a hunter since she was supposed to be a cop and hunters were way cooler.

She didn't do a bad job. She was just out of place. However, she slacked off of many things she had to do, and some of them bit her in the ass a while later.

Which is the case of a demon that she let escape, and it ended up possessing a young kid. She didn't know of this until a couple of years later, and even when she got reprimanded because of it, she didn't listen to them too much.

She was told to take care of the demon kid, but she told them to just go away. However, Penta and the demon kid (Gauge was their name) started chatting and got along very well, and even became a team shortly after. A team of hunters.

After a while they slept together, and both of them agreed that there were no compromises or romantic ties to it, but Gauge was lying. Penta realized this, and by trying to avoid responsibility, she faded from Gauge's life.

She felt guilty, and knew what she did was quite the asshole thing to do, but she didn't know how to deal with it. So she didn't talk to them for around a year.

The moment they saw each other again, Gauge immediately went violent over her, and she had to defend herself, even if she did let them hurt her more than what she could prevent because she thought she deserved it.

They beat the shit out of each other and then made up.

After that, they were friends again, but they weren't as close as before. They don't talk too much anymore, but they would defend each other without thinking twice if they knew the other was in trouble.

     Other  

• Is slightly romance repulsed.
• Has high sex drive.
• Her human name was Estela.
• As a human, is Brazilian of hindu heritage.
• Wears gloves because since her hands lack flesh, looking at them makes her feel weak. She thinks it's probably silly since her torso should be a much more relevant thing to feel weak about. Nonetheless, she almost never takes her gloves off in public.
• Smells like outer space. That is, like burnt flesh, but in a nice way. Like a BBQ.
• Sometimes changes her hairstyle buying enchantments because of her ghost police benefits.
• Studied chemistry before dying and still has interest in chemistry. Her abilities are very tied to it. She doesn't know the irony of it.
• Is the only ghost her and any of her acquaintances know of that can get energy from eating human food. It's not necessary for her to survive and her natural ectoenergy regenerates much easier and faster by itself, but Penta CAN feel hungry and CAN feel like what she eats fills her up (ironically, since it won't appear in her fleshless torso)
• She has a tendency or the ability to hang out with amoral or downright evil people without it changing her own morals.
