Personality:
Stefen tends to be very quiet and shy when you first meet him. He prefers to just stay in the background and feel out a situation before jumping madly into it. Despite being quiet and rather timid, Stefen is a really friendly, pleasant person to be around. He's very respectful and polite, and always makes sure he minds his manners and presents himself well.
He may not be the most talkative person, but anything he ends up saying is always golden, be that a rare comeback or just a one off little comment. He's a good wholesome lad that just genuinely likes making people smile, and he's quite good at it. Stefen is very witty and a heck of a lot of fun to be around, regardless of the scenario. However, he's a bit susceptible to peer pressure, and Travis tends to drag his innocent self into trouble.
Though he may not have a very solid grasp on the English language, he is very intelligent, and will try very hard to hold a civilized conversation. Stefen is hardworking and determined to put his best into anything that he does. He is quite neat and likes to keep routines, and can sometimes run into a bit of frustration if his routine is disrupted. Stefen always makes sure his hair is parted cleanly and neatly, his scarf is tied nicely, and his best is buttoned nicely and is free of dirt and wrinkles.

Backstory:
Stefen was born in Meissen as the third child in the family. Stefen's father was never in the picture, so Stefen's mother was left to raise him and his two older brothers alone. Stefen's mother instilled proper manners and discipline into her boy, and has always had high expectations of him. However, things started getting a bit tough when Stefen's mother started getting sick.
The Heininger family then decided to immigrate to America in hopes of finding better care for Stefen's mother. The family was rather poor, and Stefen knew the most English of all of them put together- his name, yes and no. Miraculously, with only 5 words of spoken English and an extremely limited understanding under his belt, he and is family then found themselves going to Pennsylvania to settle down and look for care. The brothers all went off onto their own endeavors to make money for the family, and Stefen, who had just turned 15, found himself going to the railroad and working for Louis.
