Profile
An eye for an eye is a blind man's rule
Hari Moore grew up on Mammon near the Irontown settlement with her twin sister Maggie. From an early age the sisters built up a business of smuggling contraband from settlement to settlement, finding ways to make a quick buck through selling valuable merchandise and taking on mercenary-like tasks. Whatever paid, they’d take it.
In this business, however, meddling in such things and hijacking other’s business--legal or otherwise--is a means for making many enemies. It seemed the sisters had made a big error, and in turn they were covertly neutralized. Their bodies were tossed into the remnants of the Cataclysm in the irradiated wastes.
That wasn’t the end of Hari’s story, though.

Personality
Hot-headed: Incredibly short-tempered and impatient. Will always pick instant gratification unless it absolutely 100% requires calculation and patience.
Spiteful: If you get on her bad side, you will be on her list for a good while. If you get the best of her? She will make it her life’s mission to get back at you. This also makes her extremely competitive.
Selfish: Not the best team player, will throw others under the bus if it gets her ahead.
Loyal: Despite her ability to work alone, if she believes in something she will fight to the teeth to defend it, or a person she has grown protective of.
Skills
+ Close-Range Fighting | Daggers and close range are her bread and butter in a skirmish, preferably stealthily |
+ Charismatic | As insufferable as she is at times, she still manages to be likeable somehow, at least before an individual really gets to know her. It makes it easier to get on people’s good side even if her intentions are less-so. |
+ Weird Alien-Imbued Body Mod | The alien organism/device that is embedded into her gives her a bit of an edge in the arm it is attached to that can cause it to extend further. |
- Impulsive | Hari tends to act on instinct, and is prone to jumping into action before a plan is set. This makes her hard to work with. |
- Needs a Recharge | Although the organism on her keeps her heart beating, it is also parasitic in nature and in turn saps her energy pretty fast should she push herself. |
- Easily Antagonized | Sometimes, words get the best of her. Her ego is incredibly sensitive as much as she tries to hide that fact, and if an insult goes too far, well... |
bioGRAPHY
Hari Moore grew up on Mammon near the Irontown settlement with her twin sister Maggie. From an early age the sisters built up a business of smuggling contraband from settlement to settlement, finding ways to make a quick buck through selling valuable merchandise and taking on mercenary-like tasks. Whatever paid, they’d take it.
In this business, however, meddling in such things and hijacking other’s business--legal or otherwise--is a means for making many enemies. It seemed the sisters had made a big error, and in turn they were covertly neutralized. Their bodies were tossed into the remnants of the Cataclysm in the massive and irradiated chasm cut into the earth.
That wasn’t the end of Hari’s story, though.
In an unusual string of luck and circumstance, her corpse hadn’t been completely destroyed. An organism--remnants of an old alien invasive species, perhaps, lost within the chasm--latched onto her body. Its organic tissue fusing with hers in a parasitic fashion, its nerves and vessels taking on the task of getting the human’s blood pumping again.
Suddenly Hari had found herself alive once more, thanks to the help of this parasitic attachment. It seemed it wanted to keep her alive, sharing life force and nutrients and in return keeping her heart beating. With the realization Hari had been done in, and her sister as well, the smuggler was now out for blood and determined to hunt down the individual who thought they could get the best of the Moore sisters.
All Hari has to go off of is an unusual pocket watch left on her person. The insignia engraved into it is her best bet in finding a lead. With that, she made her way to the biggest settlements, Openscar and New Oasis, in search of answers.
Given New Oasis’ heavy protection, she utilized old tunnels and abandoned mine shafts that led under the big city. With this valuable tool she kicked up her business again, utilizing the tunnels to smuggle illegal and dangerous contraband in and out for whoever was willing to pay.
THE STORY SO FAR:
- Epoch: Where it all started
- Ever since being resuscitated by Frankie, Hari has been back to business, solo. She has actively been trying to hunt for clues and answers to who killed her and Mags and why.
- Now on her own, she has taken up attempts to make new friends. As of late her main gang includes Kane & Narc. A little unconventional, but she chooses to hang around them the most despite the fact they are Diamondbacks.
- She met Narc in the tunnels, they tend to work on the same wavelength at opposite ends
- She had scammed Kane with a shitty gun and proceeded to get into a bar fight as a result. Once the dust settled they decided it was chill.
- After breaking into a rich guy's house, said rich guy, Balthazar, ends up offering help to the Blight problem. Hari is still tentative as to why he bothers, but has very few options to go elsewhere to get Frankie off.
- She met Jean in the tunnels near Vichetown, and to save her own hide she offers to bring sorry souls down for the Gourguer to munch on.
- Jean seems to take a liking to Hari and her Blight problem as well, cooking up an alternative solution she is very unsure of.
- Hari figures out through acquaintance Garr that Audrey Galloway is probably behind the scheme to kill the Moore sisters. Turns out poking at a venomous snake has consequences when they've had enough.
- New accidental roommate Eliza takes residency in Hari's abode. They're still figuring each other out, but Hari wants to consider her a friend.
- They wrangle some horses together, Bonecrusher acquired.
- After meeting up with a stranger, Chester, for some drinks it turns into a headhunt and she is delivered straight to the man that killed her and Maggie; Rigor.
- Hari has trust issues now!
- With the knowledge of her sworn enemies locked in place, Hari is now scheming.
- TO BE CONTINUED...
Trivia
- Hari loves acting! She can do impressions pretty well and perform a pretty believable persona to gain attention or trust. Comes with being a charlatan and all.
- She named the blight parasite that is fused to her Frankie, for whatever reason. It is indifferent to this name if it can even understand her at all. All it cares about is filtering her blood and stealing nutrients.
- Frankie is latched to the left side of Hari, sharing her heart and keeping blood flowing through its veins and into hers. It has since spread down to her arm and up her neck.
- Her arm is still in her control, but now has the ability to morph and extend in a pretty gruesome fashion. While gross, she utilizes this unique ability quite well.
- Frankie is continuously spreading, slowly but surely making it more dangerous and potentially terminal if Hari doesn’t get it fixed soon as its roots grow deeper and deeper.
- While most of her memories remained intact, she suffers from some memory loss. Post mortem life has also made her even more unbearable and obnoxious than before.
- As reckless as she is, she is rather terrified of dying again. Experiencing the void of death does that to a person. Her lack of control with Frankie slowly withering her away has her on edge and she wants to get it fixed but is pretty decisive about where she gets this help from…
- She misses her sister gravely but will never admit aloud how alone she feels without her around. She’s doing her best to uphold their business and whatever reputation they have left.
- Also absolutely hates expressing genuine personal emotions and feelings unless she trusts you, even so it often comes off as angry and bitter. Emotions are a sign of weakness and in this world--especially alone--you cannot be seen as weak.
Relationships
Maggie Moore || Sister (Deceased)
|| Loyalty / Love / Family / Grief ||
“Love ya, Mags.”
Maggie was Hari’s twin sister. Hari can only assume at the moment that Mags fell to the same hit that was put out on herself, and was less lucky to come back for a second chance.
In life, Maggie and Hari were inseparable. From an early age they ran from their birth-parents due to neglect and abuse and lived as street-rats around New Oasis. They found they were pretty natural in the art of smuggling and charlatanry, often stealing and scamming to survive and soon they made a business out of it as they started mapping out the abandoned tunnels and mineshafts that run deep throughout Mammon.
Maggie was more of the mellow, level headed of the sisters, who often was more of a voice of reason and protective of her sister. She often was good at conducting the business end while Hari worked the charm up front, and together they were seemingly unstoppable in their business venture.
Hari never really needed anybody else in her life with her sister by her side, so one could imagine her ability to cope going forward solo is a rough transition along with the grief of losing the person she was closest to.
