Leo Xu

Leo is a popular streamer and music producer. He is known around the internet as a friendly streamer who gets along with practically everyone. Leo is particularly good at FPS, strategy, and games that require a decent amount of grinding but he will play anything that catches his eye. Every once in a while, Leo will stream part of his music making process if he’s in the mood for a more low key night.

Leo grew up in a single parent home in a small town not too far from the outskirts of the city. His parents were young–maybe too young and his father decided he was not ready to settle down and one day, he left. Even though she was now alone, Leo’s mother was determined to give her child the best and happiest life she could. After Leo was born, she took on more responsibilities at work and quickly started making her way up the corporate ladder. However, she was always busy with work and Leo found himself alone for meals and doing the housework often.

Despite his mother’s busy schedule, she and Leo were quite close. She was a hard worker who never let anything get in the way of taking care of her child. When Leo came home teary eyed one day because the neighborhood kids were picking on him, she immediately picked him back up and taught him to value himself. After finishing elementary school, he and his mother moved to the city for his mother’s work.

As he got older, Leo gained more confidence. After powering through his awkward pre-teen phase, Leo blossomed in high school. His newfound confidence and no nonsense attitude made him attractive to his classmates and Leo was charismatic enough to keep their attention. Through his 4 years, Leo made many friends and made sure to have as much fun as he could. He wasn’t a delinquent or a troubled child–he wanted to make his mom proud and worked hard in his classes. Leo wasn’t amazing but he did alright. He spent most of his days after school going to karaoke and hanging out with different circles.

Somewhere along the way, he became acquainted with Takara Kaneko, a fellow classmate. Takara was known as the school’s prince and Leo was no stranger to the gossip surrounding the other. They met on a warm spring day on the rooftop during lunch. Leo thought it was unusual to see such a loved person by himself but supposed the same could be said about him. Much to Leo’s surprise, Takara was hesitant and a little aggressive at first but soon, the pair found themselves in each other’s company often and not just for lunch break. For Takara, it was the first time he had shown someone this side of him. Leo understood Takara’s feelings and felt like he had found something interesting.

In the last year and a half of high school, Leo found himself feeling unsure of what to do next. The obvious choice was to attend college and eventually get some kind of well paying job, but he wasn’t thrilled with the idea. Around this time, Leo began streaming. He played all sorts of games that happened to pique his interest. He was always good at video games and quickly garnered a following. While it was difficult for him to stream while still attending classes, he genuinely enjoyed it. By the time he was a senior, he was already a popular streamer and his channel was continuing to grow. With the support of his friend, Takara and his mom’s approval, Leo decided to take a gap year to see how his career on Twitch would pan out.

Lately, Leo has found himself in front of a camera outside of his stream. As his channel grew, he began to do more collaborations and appear in more advertisements. He was a little nervous at first but quickly found that he had a talent for posing. Leo is still a little rough around the edges, but he doesn’t do anything haphazardly and is determined to do well.
