Because of both his personality, and childhood trauma, Ash is a very withdrawn, shortspoken person. He is very brief with everyone except for those he is close to- and it usually takes him a long time to open up. Because of this, people either read him as 'cool and mysterious', or standoffish and rude. Some people can find his tendence to fall into a flat effect when stressed rather unsettling. With people he knows, he's fairly well humored, but tends to always be very low eneergy. Drugs and alcohol tend to make him perkier, but can result in angry outbursts the more he drinks. He's a slave to his impulses when it comes to his vices, but is incredibly caring and dedicated to those he trusts. Trust, however, is an incredibly hard thing for Ash to come by.

Due to his childhood abuse, Ashlei can slip into pathologically lying. He'd rather come up with a lie when asked questions then tell the full truth, and tends towards sneaky behaviour before trusting someone won't just allow him things out of kidnness.
