Personality

Though appears tired and yawns often everyday, Benny is a hardworking man both in the workplace and as a father. Casually he's a laidback man with pretty tolerable with anything that comes at him. He dedicates so much of his time caring and teaching her daughter on just about anything, and adores her existence - most of his happiness emanates whenever she's around. However, after the divorce, Benny is struggling in fighting custody over his child, Mia who only visits him a few times a month. Him missing his child has affected his mental health overtime, immediately feeling lonely or sad without her presence. He purposefully works extra just so he won't think about these problems, but it's progressively affected his body.

The story

Benjamin overworks himself quite often in place of days where he can't be with his daughter or with his college friends. After attempts of trying to get Mia back into his custody, his exwife announces that she will be moving out of state with her current husband and two other kids, which means that Mia will be moving out of state with her mother. Sullivan is currently stressed out with the situation and seeks comfort with his friends, wondering how he can get Mia to stay here with him.

Trivia

• If Mia isn't there, his sees Robert (his cat) as his replacement child.
  > Robert likes to sleep on his face.
• Although sick of it, Benny watches a lot of Disney content only because his daughter LOVES them.
  > He knows Disneyland at the back of his hand because of the dozens of times he's stopped by there.
  > His favorite Disney movie is the Lion King though.
• If he's not spending time with his daughter or not working, he's likely hanging out with his friend(s) in a restaurant or cafe. 
  > Always orders alcohol with his meals (unless he's with Mia).
• Terrible coffee addiction
  > Favorite drink of all time is an Irish Coffee.
• Lives in a two-bedroom apartment.
  > He uses one bedroom, but rarely sleeps on the bed. He finds it more comfortable to sleep on the couch in the living room.
  > The second bedroom is his office space. But it's been used as a guest bedroom or a bedroom for Mia (though Mia likes to sleep in Benny's bedroom).
• Part of the "Tired Friends" trio.
  > Perhaps the fact that they're always tired is the reason why they're longtime friends.
  > Both he and Terry live off of bad habits of trash food and lack of sleep. It makes Emerson mad but he, too, does the same.

Relationships

Emerson  [ Friend ]

Sullivan started college quite late but he's met Emerson in one of his classes. After the first semester together, they got along so well and stuck together since they've graduated. Benny knows that Emerson's got his own shit to deal with and tries not to bother him with his problems. But he won't ever deny an invitation to go out to eat at somewhere new with Espada. He's appreciates Emerson too, as he often offers a hand to help for when he needs it. Whether it be helping to care for Mia, driving him around, and more importantly: listening to the things he's dealing with - he feels indebt to his college friend and wishes he could do something for Emerson. Occasionally (Or rarely), he is also friends with benefits; this was after the divorce with his wife.

Terry  [ Friend ]

First of all, Benny doesn't know how Terry can live off of such terrible diet and three hours of sleep. Then again, Benny is likely the same. He pities Terry in a way as to how teaching band would drain him. And since those college days they had together, he was excited for his friend to become a teacher. Yet he didn't expect that he'd be teaching band... of all subjects. Benny tries not to pry into it. He appreciate Terry's company for when they go out to hang.

Mia  [ Daughter ]

Mia is Benjamin's daughter and his greatest treasure. If it didn't annoy everyone he knew, he could talk about her all day. At first, Sullivan was iffy about having children but it's like... his whole life changed since she was born. He's serious that he would do anything for his daughter. But since the divorce, he would see her less and less as time goes on despite he'd go out of his way to make time for them. And to hear that she might be moving out of state with her mother and her new family... Benny is heartbroken.
