About

Mercury tends to be fairly bold and is the more outgoing of the twins. Often speaking her mind loudly and making sure she's heard, and often challenging the authority around her and thus often ending up in trouble quite a bit. When she's not out with her friends causing trouble, she's at home with her sister, Jupiter, often quietly reading history books or watching history documentaries while curled up with a plushie. While it doesn't show much, she does have a soft creative side to her, that only her closest friends and family know about and if anyone outside of that circle tried to comment about it, she's quick to become defensive and deny anything about it. Only to turn around when no one is looking and feed the strays that hang around her father's garage while sharing plushies she's okay with parting with and putting together shelters for those strays. While she never says anything about it, deep down she feels lost and doesn't know how to cope with it. Because of this, she's often seen as a wanderer. Mercury often spends her time at night wandering the streets and city rooftops and dreams of running off and finding her own path in life. Though she tries to hide this with her chaotic energy and "F-you!" attitude, and for the moment, she tries to be content with living that said chaotic lifestyle.

History:
The youngster was born to Ratchet and Nevina. Neither she nor her sister were planned but were a happy surprise nonetheless. Much like her older siblings, Mercury and Jupiter were born during the lombax restoration period in the Polaris Galaxy. As she grew, the sensation of "Wanting to go home" nagged her, as a small child it wasn't loud and she could put it aside. But as she got older and into high school, the thought constantly crosses her mind, and no matter who she goes to and talks to about it, no one can give her an answer that satisfies her. Now as a teenager she often finds herself retreating into herself to try and find the answer, but nothing works for her.
Being the youngest, she would look up to older siblings for inspiration and motivation, mostly to her older sister, Aphelion who'd grown into an alternative lifestyle and this caused the young bax to also explore being alternative as well. It was through this she found her two best friends, a young lombaxian-nether mix named Gemini, and a young Markazian named Mark. It was through them that she became this wild, outspoken, rebellious child that she is now, constantly in detention or getting suspended and for the most part, she enjoys her life of chaos. But it would be a lie to say it was always fun and enjoyable, as this also leads to her parents arguing a lot and this leads to a conflict within herself as well, between a strong desire to want to be a good kid like her twin sister, or herself and use the chaos to find herself.

Growing up, the pair were fairly close to each other. Often usually only hanging out with each other and Matrix, and for a long time, they were happy with that. Sadly, they started growing apart as high school started for them. While she does try to reach out as best she can, but more often than not, Merc is dragged off by her friends.

Aphelion

Older sister

Mercury adores her older sister and idolizes her alternative appearance and lifestyle, though in truth Aphelion wasn't as rebellious as her little sister currently is. She knows Alphie worries about her a lot, and the pair often have these deeply involved talks about anything and everything. The older does what she can to help, but she often wonders: Is it enough?

Matrix

Close friend

Matrix is a childhood friend of the twins and is close with both sisters, though she's often dragged along on Merc's misadventures. She often wishes Merc would relax and go back to when they were little kids, always herself, Merc, and Jupiter paling around with each other and watching movies. But never the less, she still joins her because that's just what good friends do.
