Furizu can be really hot-headed when annoyed enough, but when treated right, his loyalty is unbreakable. He gets easily annoyed mostly at things he does when they don’t go right, and it doesn’t help that he’s pretty clumsy too.

ABILITY:

Furizu has the power to create and manipulate fire, which are always blue in color. The angrier he gets, the colder his fire becomes, but not enough for it to be rendered useful. Because of this, Furizu tries to stay as calm as possible when using his powers. When he’s really fired up and serious, the stripe on his back blasts with the same kind of fire.

When Furizu was younger, he used to live with Nate in their old town, but both were bullied a lot by a clowder of cats. The two planned on moving homes when they got older, but the bullying got so bad that Furizu couldn’t wait and left Nate in the middle of the night at 14, not wanting to bring him any trouble that he may face outside their hometown.

Eventually he found Hideaway Forest and decided to live in it as a forest dweller since it’s isolated from many people. He built a den on a glade and has lived there ever since. Nate eventually found him after a year, and Furizu apologized profusely when he heard about what happened to Nate while his feline friend was looking for him, and was forgiven.

Kami ran into them not too long after, and decided to live with them, which Nate and Furizu were happy about as they’ve got a new friend. Furizu had a crush on both Nate and Kami at some point, but since the two were both into girls, he got over it knowing he doesn’t have a chance. Glazer had also run into them 2 years later.

Furizu eventually got over the past bullying by talking to Glazer about it often. He doesn’t mind living in the isolation of Hideaway Forest, but also wouldn’t mind if his friends wanted them to move somewhere with a bit more society. That being said, when Kami suggested to him that they all move to Leaflet Village, he was excited about a new change. Furizu and Kami planned ahead a lot and saved up enough to buy a house they picked out, but never told Nate until later on due to him being busy adapting to his new life. While Kami knew Nate would be okay with it once they tell him, Furizu was a little doubtful. Fortunately, Nate was happy about it, and thought it was a nice surprise.

After the death of Phyre, Kami told Furizu and Glazer that Cascade will be living with them from now on so that she can keep an eye on her, being the cause of her own sister‘s death. Furizu understands the situation was an accident, but was still a little skeptical of Kami’s idea after all his previous encounters with Cascade. Though he trusts that Kami knows what she’s doing.
