Story: Born from a thrown out paintbrush Shikisai decided to continue to be an artist when she was brought to life. She travels all over Gensokyo, painting and creating for humans and Youkai.

Personality: Shikisai loves creating. Whatever art form has color involved, she'll try, but her favorite will always be painting. She takes great joy in making things, but sometimes forgets that she needs to ask before changing the colors of people's things.

Relationships

Zee: Zee is Shikisai's first friend. They have enormous amounts of respect for each other as artists and sort of treat each other like sisters.

Aojei: Aojei is like a little sister to Shikisai. She loves hanging out with her and finds her really sweet. But sometimes she gets annoyed when Aojei interrupts her when she's painting.

Sumi: Shikisai has an appreciation for the art Sumi creates (his writing), but finds her taste in media a bit strange and lopsided for her to understand. Shiki mostly just leaves Sumi to his own devices, especially when he takes Zee to be chaotic together.
