THE LEON PACK
Joel
He is somber and calm but has a very warm and loving personality to those in his pack as well as familiar with those in the Leon Pack’s town. He’s fast to distrust strangers first before giving them the benefit of the doubt.
Current co-leader of the Leon Pack. Husband to Sarah, the other co-leader. Has a false eye, lost his original eye to a silver bullet while fighting hunters help protect the Leon Pack. Joel doesn't talk much about his past, just that he traveled down from Canada and has moved much before settling down with Sarah and the Pack.
Relationships
Sarah [ Wife ]
The love of Joel's life and co-leader of their pack. The other half to his whole and more than he could ever ask for. She understands him without him even having to say a word. There's nothing he wouldn't do for her.
Ronan [ Offspring ]
Joel was astonished to have heard the news that Sarah was going to have a child. He never thought he'd be able to be a father and for it to be with the love of his life, he was overwhelmed. Joel treated Ronan like the most prized treasure in all the world. Of course, Joel knows Ronan got pretty spoiled and that he still kinda of let's Ronan and Orla do as they wish. He doesn't quite have the heart to tell them no on things. But if Sarah says otherwise, it's, "Listen to your mother."
Orla [ Offspring ]
Joel wept when he heard the news they would be having another child. It took some reassuring it wasn't a joke, but Joel couldn't believe he'd be the father of one, let alone two children. Bitten werewolves can rarely have children, so Joel couldn't believe their luck. And Orla was just as precious to him. He learned a bit more after raising Ronan. That you shouldn't shelter children and give them some pushes in the right direction. Orla has become very self suffiecent and motivated in everything she does. He sees a lot of her mother in her work ethic and it charms Joel.
Sean [ Cousin-in-law ]
Joel and Sean get along as well as can be expected of an extrovert and introvert family member. Sean jokes around with Joel a lot while Joel is very modest about it. Joel is mostly happy to have a human that's happily in their pack. Something about it makes him feel like they're more in place in their town, having a non-werewolf from the town also be their family. And because Sean doesn't have thier strength and abilities he's pretty protective over him. Sean teases him over it and thinks it's funny.
Cole [ Cousin-in-law Cousin ]
Joel can't help but see how mature Cole is for his age. Though he's protective of Cole as he is for Sean, he does respect Cole's desire to be taken seriously.
Isaac [ Pack Member ]
Isaac is a major help to their pack. Joel sees him much like another son. While Joel finds him as more of a livewire than his own contrasting mellow nature, he does enjoy how very motivated and a hard worker. He thinks Isaac would be a great leader of a pack. Whether he will someday succeed the Leon Pack or lead his own-- Joel welcomes both. He has mentioned in passing to Isaac he'd be a great leader, as an earworm. Joel doesn't want to pressure him into any discitions.
Nailah [ Pack Member ]
Joel suspects Nailah may leave the pack after she figures out what she wants. He can sense the itch she has being in a small town. She's even more lively than Isaac and is always looking to play amongst the nightlife scene. He hopes she'll stay longer. But that would be his protective nature. He worries if she's ready or not after everything that's happened in her past. Like all his children though, he's not strict with her but still keeps a watchful eye to be sure she's safe.
Romy [ Pack Member ]
Romy and Joel have a mutual respect and understanding of each other. They love their pack but also like their calm and solo moments. He sees how fond Orla is of them as well and is happy for it. Romy came to them bristled and with a mind muddied by turmoil feelings. But it seems that they have been able to relax. Romy even finally came around to romping around with the pack and having physical affection. He senses that Romy isn't sure about how to feel about their new sense of peace and hopes they'll accept that they deserve it.
