Lukasha Parkwright

Born to Ivenna Parkwright and Antoni Mancino, Lukasha Antoniovich Parkwright grew up remarkably average. He liked to play with other kids, played with animals, and absolutely loved cooking with his aunt and mother. His mom tried her best to keep Luka in touch with his Russian heritage, as she had been taken from it and he would be a means to connect to home. With her tending to be his primary caretaker, he took to it wonderfully, developing her accent and holding Russian value.

Come age 5, Luka caught meningitis, which quickly worked its way to cause significant damage. He recovered quickly, though his hearing wasn't as fortunate. He lost a significant portion of his hearing, beginning his deaf journey quite young. As it was changing, Antoni hardly proved to care, instead 'proving' Luka could still hear by teaching him to wield a gun.

Raised young to be proficient in skills useful for organized crime, Luka knew to shoot by the time he turned 6 (which also proved to harm his hearing a significant amount) and pick locks with ease by 7. At that time, Ivenna had enough. Her mother had moved to the states to be with her daughter and grandson, and so, Ivenna took Luka and left in the night to live with his grandmother, Renate (aka Babu).

From that point, normalcy slowly started to creep back into Luka's life as he and the women raising him continued to do so without Antoni. Luka became very good with his cooking and did his best to not let his deafness hinder him. The problem there, though, was Ivenna refusing to use sign language or English at home, leaving Luka often stuck trying to speak or write in Russian.

Following his youth, Luka's teens proved to be just as questionable and challenging. He would only speak on extreme, rare occasion and his poor English handwriting proved to make school difficult to keep up with and manage. In an attempt to ease this burden, he found a group of outcasted friends. Together, they were a self-proclaimed vigilante gang, hanging out in an old garage or skate parks in their free time.

The gang was as one would expect: troublemakers on drugs. A half-dozen of them total took to it. At its head, Everin, Luka's partner at the time with a bit of a god complex. At his side, Kai, who tended to the organizational and planning side of things due to his inability to handle blood. In the general populus, Jackson, Frankie, Marlene, Leslie, and, of course, Luka himself.

Not long after high school, Everin tested the waters too close for Luka's willingness. To protect his friend Alan from being pulled into anything suspicious or shady, Luka left the gang and refused to talk to them past necessary or cordial means. He kept his focus on moving on to law school and getting his life back in order without drugs or violence as the gang life had been.

While at an event with his brother-in-deafness, Alan, Luka noticed some girls being harrassed by a familiar face. Intervening, he found himself stabbed by his old friend. In a panic, Alan ran off to get help, returning with the siren from the first aid tent. Upon healing his wound, Luka found himself in heaven on Earth. The tiniest bit of hearing he had with his hearing aids blessed him with the beautiful voice of the angel that healed him.

From there, Luka and Alcor were quick to enjoy their lives together. That same day, they had their first date, planned another the day after, and met her parents. Over the following months, they had their ups and downs, from Alcor's ex partner breaking into their apartment to try and demand her back to Luka's own ex attempting to murder him and brand him a traitor in his death. Regardless, they worked through it.

Possibly the most notable event came after they returned from their engagement. While celebrating with their friends, the imprisoned exes of Luka and Marlene made a nasty return. After stabbing Alcor and believing her dead, Luka ruthlessly murdered his ex in a blind rage before moving to tend to her. Marlene and her partner, Sylceran, handled her ex as well, resulting in her being threatened and the man being shot in the head.

To protect Sylceran from what seemed to be certain doomed imprisonment, the two sirens and Marlene were given the chance to revive the dead. After much debate and concerns, they brought back Marlene's ex, Kai, and attempted to move on with their lives, despite this leading to many more complications through their lives.

Due to the necromancy, Alcor was blinded for months due to a mistake made by Marlene in her first significant healing event. Refusing to let it impede too much between them, Luka gifted Alcor with their beloved pup, Eclipse, as a guide dog and kept searching for means to restore her vision, eventually surrendering to the most viable option: his father.

With Alcor's vision back, Antoni proved a nuisance in many ways, hurting their friends and making great demands for his 'favor'. They put up with this, and in due time, it was normal for them. They moved on, got married, and tried to enjoy their lives yet. However, pressures kept coming and problems with the mafia leader became concerning for them and their to-be family. It became painfully apparent something needed done.

While Luka tended to what he needed, Alcor took it upon herself to protect their happy moments by taking Antoni out of the picture. With a bit of planning and preparation, Alcor murdered Antoni for her husband. While initially devastated by the whole of it, Luka found himself also relieved.

They stayed together, and began to find things easing up for them. They moved somewhere new to stay safe, adopted a young boy, Felis, after complications of Leslie's family, and expect a half-siren of their own in their future. While life continues throwing curveballs to make sure things stay eventful in one way or another, it would seem they found their happy end.

As he is deaf in both ears, he should have either hearing aids or a cochlear implant included. If the art is including sign language, it is okay to omit this detail.

He has two primary tie designs: white with lavender embroidery and white with starry embroidery. Both are from his wife!

It is preferred his hair is down rather than tied back. Both are okay, though!
