Even though Doekit was born into an odd family dynamic, he never thought of it as weird. His mother and father hadn’t expected to become parents, but they still loved him all the same, and that’s all he cared about. Ever since he was able to open his eyes, Doekit clung to his mother, Mothflame, like glue. He’s what cats would call a “momma’s boy,” and he prefers his mother to his father solely due to her thoughts on appearance. Sure, cats might think Owleye was attractive, but not to the same extent as Mothflame! Doekit spends most of his time grooming himself or following behind his siblings as they sneak off to cause trouble. If his fur gets out of place when they play, he pauses to lick it back into place before continuing to play again.
Doekit knows nothing of the war between clans, or his parent’s strange relationships with cats from their enemy. All he truly knows of his clan is Grackleshade and Faclonwatcher’s names. Since he is a kit, he doesn’t care too much about anything but his own happiness and playing with his siblings and parents. As all kittens tend to do, he gets into trouble with his siblings!
