Hourglass's Comments

I really like the two-toned greens contrasting with the red/yellow eyes they have! It definitely makes them seem more like a predator ready to strike at any moment. I can definitely picture that they were likely looked down upon for their appearance at least once in a while.

The touch about them learning bloodbending without the use of the full moon sounds like both a massive process and a whole ordeal by itself. On top of the events that happened to them and their fellow cruxes, being forced to live in a cavern without any aid besides their small band (who had already been rejected for similar help!) would have caused them to grow angered at the world even further.

I wonder how the government felt when the cruxes who'd tried to seek their help were suddenly the biggest threats?

Thank you! And I never thought about that; Hourglass was probably ridiculed when they were a little younger.

Yeah, they definitely struggled to get where they were, and while they've grown used to their underground cave they're still pretty angry at the world for forcing them and the rest of the cruxes into hiding.

The government's probably secretly embarrassed, but knowing most governments they'd definitely find a way to make a poor excuse. Probably something like how the cruxes were dangerous and would've done this anyway even if they were helped.
