Gordo always seems to have a barrier between himself and those he talks to. Unsuspecting audiences and those who call him friend alike note that he always has a mask of sorts on, selling his talents and abilities as 'Magic' the likes of which can't be contained in a tome. Catch him on the rare occasion he's not trying to make extra money, be it through performances or a quick pickpocket, and it becomes obvious that he holds a lot back; he's extremely pious, and he can't stand to watch others in pain for reasons he refuses to divulge to anyone. Despite this, the occasions where Gordo could be considered to be helping others are few and far between; his first three priorities are "Me, Myself, and I". - Appearance
Short and lithe, Gordo swims in his cloak with it almost reaching his knees. Preferring to keep his arms free, he tries to wear as few sleeves as possible. He's also never found without his bandana on, even while he sleeps; he gets extremely protective when anyone asks him to take it off. His features are unique for a Beorc too: his fingers seem longer than they should be, and his ears are definitely a little pointier than average. - Likes

- Backstory
Gordo refuses to tell anyone about his backstory, as he claims the mystique is what helps gather crowds. He's also probably afraid that it wouldn't live up to the hype. Gordo's childhood was sad and tragic, but not in any grand or mystical way that he may claim. Gordo never knew his parents and had nothing to remind him of them, nothing except the mark on his forehead which marked him as a hybrid laguz-human child that is. The mark which garnered him scorn from many other confused children and disdainful adults. This chip on his shoulder manifested when the church officials who raised him and other children without parents couldn't gather the funds to keep the doors open, so Gordo helped in the only way he could. His Cat heritage enhanced his agility, so he took the card tricks and feats of dexterity he used to entertain the other kids to the streets, gathering funds from passerby. If they refused to help because of his mark, he'd simply steal their wallets and put their funds to a better cause. It was through these means that Gordo helped keep himself and the other children housed for a few extra years, but the opulence which makes Artenia so famous has many, many downsides, and Gordo's performances couldn't keep up with rising costs. So Gordo took to living on the streets, already used to their rhythm and rules, hiding his mark and any evidence of the home he failed to save.

The irresponsible King of Artenia, though he lets the Council of the People walk all over him. Met Gordo when the magician ducked behind him to escape an angry crowd, and kept in touch ever since. Gordo could really take or leave the friendship. - Eban
Nosy Acrobat
Acrobat from the Cat Circus of Artenia, and much too inquisitive for his own good. He and Gordo only met recently when Martin introduced the two of them, though the cat hasn't left him alone since then, much to the thief's dismay. - Gracie
Unfortunate Performer
A young dancer from off the streets of Artenia. She and Gordo were introduced to each other through Martin, but Gordo had heard the stories of the up and coming 'flame dancer' before that. It shocks him that she'd be so young. - Trivia
