Despite what others say about a temperamental, curt, and withdrawn girl who graces the streets of Artenia, Gracie would hardly describe herself as such. In truth, Gracie loves to spend time with others, whether it be dancing, chatting, or just sitting in silence with a good book. What the general public sees is what Gracie considers her worst aspects, protective measures cultivated from years of being in the public eye. She does her absolute best not to snap at people who don't deserve it, though she finds that harder and harder with each passing day. - Appearance
Gracie tailors her look around her performances; being short in stature, she relies on flowy tops to accompany her long hair for the spectacle, and keeps the rest of her outfit simple so as not to interfere with her footwork. Rarely does Gracie wear anything beyond simple cloth, since she can't afford much else. Something she always carries on her is a long strip ribbon with colors matching her outfit, which assists her both in dancing and as knapsack in a pinch. - Likes

- Backstory
Left abandoned on the streets at a young age, Gracie was adopted by Vincent Markos, the wealthy head of the local dancer's guild. Growing up, Gracie busied herself with books as Vincent was always out on business. Instead, there always seemed to be a litany of dancers under her adoptive father's employ coming and going, who Gracie watched with much interest. Even though they wouldn't teach her about their craft, Gracie was determined to learn more about the beautiful world that passed through her door. So, she picked up books on dance and taught herself the moves, and performed on her own time. Though she understood the technique, Gracie's lack of experience meant that she didn't garner much attention or praise. Refusing to let this stop her, Gracie set herself apart by learning Anima Magic to accompany her dances. The acrobatic dance between human and flame, always coming close but never scorching, Gracie very quickly became a local favorite, much to the frustration of Vincent and his Guild members; as Gracie's fame grew, so did the guild's hostility towards her as an outsider, and as an attempt to humble Gracie they drew away her customers by refusing to serve them if seen at one of her shows. Thus, Gracie went and convinced Martin, the generous king who could often be seen at her shows, to let her accompany him as he traveled beyond Artenia's borders.
