Adopted at a young age, Anthony was raised at the temple of the Shrouded Matriarch, goddess of magic and monsters. His dream was to become a warrior-priest, one who serves the will of the goddess in the field by hunting down humans who abuse magic and protecting magical creatures. But Anthony has no tolerance for magic - even the smallest amount makes him sick and pretty much useless in battle. Yet the Matriarch allowed his induction as a warrior-priest, much to the chagrin of his adopted mother, the High Priestess. She sent Anthony to a smallish city with a sudden surge of magical activity, hoping he wouldn't run into much trouble.

Instead, he ran into Mika, a young woman with incredible magical aptitude and no common sense. With her natural ability to handle even the strongest magics, Anthony recruits her as her partner in stopping the local misuses of magic and getting to the bottom of the sudden magical activity around them. 

Nebbish and nerdy, Anthony leans more towards priest than warrior, though he has a warrior's courage and determination. He's intelligent, thoughtful and gentle, with a head for planning and research. Unlike Mika, he's reserved emotionally and keeps a cooler head even in stressful situations. Sometimes though, he gets caught up in uncertainty and needs a shove from Mika to set him back on his feet. Though he can't use magic much at all, Anthony is prepared with pre-made cantrips and potions, and knows pretty much everything about magical lore and magical creatures (or so he thinks...).

Fun Facts:

- Anthony wears old-timey pajamas. He even wears an old-timey pajama cap. And yes, they have stars and moons on them.
