He comes off as cold-hearted and most people's impressions of him is fearful. They don't know his last name so cannot link him with the Swott family. The only ones who know his last name is his close friends and workers. He really cares for them and they know that Toby isn't that cold-exterior that many people see. He is actually a very caring person and isn't afraid to fight for their lives and rights. He wouldn't want them to be hurt because of him.

Toby seems to always despise his family - and much talk about anybody being close with im. He's pretty closed-off and doesn't speak too much about what's on his mind and just usually deals with it inside his own head. He doesn't tend to show too many emotions visabibly - he's just learnt to mask it over the years in front of his family and it's just on auto-pilot for him.

Toby grew up in the Swott household. A very rich aristocrat family who is very close with the Royals and has quite a bit of influence in the court of law. Only some of the higher-ups know the Swott's family true intention and the other business they run.

Toby has been left alone to run the Swott's underground business as the rest of his family mantain either a place high up or/and keep a normal image. He's still trying to keep hold on the ropes of running it. He has some ideals that are very different from what his family has had for many years. Wanting to run it slightly more differently but it's hard to change something that has been established for so long.

He has known about Fletcher for quite awhile. Being both very similiar in terms of their random abilities spawning out of nowhere. Toby can tolorate Fletcher, just a little bit. As far as he is aware, Fletcher is the only other person who hasn't gone insane from whatever this ability is. He isn't on friendly terms with him but, is he with anyone?

Toby has some sort of idea on how some of this ability has started after recevivng a stone plate which cannot break. His powers had an abnormal reaction to it. He's kept this to himself and hasn't mentioned it at all to Fletcher in fears that Fletcher might not be searching for the same answers as Toby is.
