When reading the relationship segment on him and his daughter... It mentions past leaders. Would this just be implying they would have killed the kit or thrown it out? Or is this potentially mentioning that there may have been bad omens such as this before a long time ago? :0

its more complicated than that and hard to explain in detail, but he distanced himself with a whole lot of denial on top of it, refusing to truly see and acknowledge how the rest of the clan treated weepingwind as well as his own actions. and despite deep down knowing he couldve led better outcomes or been a better cat he in full rage and also sorrow blames her existence for changing everything. just huge denial and mentally avoiding any responsibility nor reason
