About

Raveneye is an intimidating and fearsome warrior with many victories to his name. He has a high guard alongside a stern and reserved facade; leaving his emotional side subdued. He and Weepingwind were older than most when their first and only kit was born after many failed attempts. His world changed forever as excitement and joy of becoming a parent and a continued heritage was turned into sorrowful rage and resentment.

He's an experienced leader who takes his role with seriousness and responsibility. Together with his strong beliefs and morals the actions he took facing his biggest challenge yet ended up crucial to his and his family's entire life. Seeing the small white kit in front of him was unreal and hit harder than the most fatal claws he could ever imagine fighting.

With time he'd come to realize Crowsong was in fact his daughter but his actions in the moment of her birth was to reject the kit. In unreasonable anger he accused Weepingwind of being unfaithful, alongside having deep-rooted beliefs tightly tied to his past trauma and his actions caused their entire relationship to fall apart. Both parents, heartbroken with shattered lives left Crowsong on her own without proper love nor guidance in her life.

He took his role as single leader of the clan, completely cold towards his mate and resenting his daughter. With that the rest of Corvidclan followed suit under his reign and beliefs.

Relationships

Raveneye always kept himself emotionally distant from all but Weepingwind; who managed to break down his walls with kindess, patience and love as they grew up together. His brother Sootspot died in a tragic accident along with his mate Smokeveil, Coalclaw and Shadowfern he supresses his own guilt onto Crowsong; blaming her for what happened just like the rest of the clan did.

His terrible and ruthless father Crowingheart took responsibility in raising Raveneye with a stern paw and manipulative tactics.Obsidianfang on the other hand took care of Sootspot with a far more kind and caring nature, not wanting much to do with neither her mate nor her older son. Raveneye grew to become resentful, distant and jealous of his sheltered and oblivious brother, especially when hearing Sootspot desiring what Raveneye had; completely unaware of what hardships their stern father put him through.

Warped beliefs

As a young cat he refused to believe the myths and stories about ravens and cats being united with sacred bonds. He would question everything his elders told him and he barely believed in starclan at all.

This changed when he was attacked by a hawk while he was out on his own. With his eye clawed out and moments from death a murder of crows came harassing and eventually scaring off the attacker. The miraculous commotion gave Ravenpaw time to escape back home.

Having survived brink of death his world view changed forever and since that day he wholeheartedly believes that starclan sent guardians to protect him, along with all myths and stories such as corvids playing a part in their history being true. Instead of dismissing and finding the idea of dark fur's importance irrelevant he now preached it's importance and symbolism until he eventually became leader himself; carrying on the twisted idea that would eventually lead back to his demise.
