Penny

Back in her childhood, Penny used to be a kind, sensitive and empathic individual with a remarkable intelligence and foresight, essential qualities for her survival in harsh conditions. She often managed to avoid trouble using her wit and make herself completely unnoticed when she needed to. She used to be considerate, sweet and innocent and couldn't conceptualize hurting others, however life forced her to become as mean as can be. She is now a harsh, stone cold vigilante with no qualms against killing those she deems nefarious and very well defined principles which she guides her life by. She is capable of empathy, however the desire for justice often overshadows her mercy for those she considers of criminal nature. She has no remorse for her killings, her reasoning being that she disposes of the scum of society. Despite all of this, she would never hurt someone she views as innocent. She is very determined, ambitious and has a remarkable will to live, few things being able to faze her or deter her from her goals. Despite being small, she's very physically resistant as well, which was the main quality that kept her alive during her days at the Theta-III testing facility. These main faculties drew the attention of The Overseer upon her and were also what facilitated her escape from Theta-III.

Backstory

Penny is a homeless girl whos parents were murdered during a robbery when she was 13. She used to live on the streets on her own, always accompanied by her laptop which she holds very dear. She is a highly intelligent stealth master, almost always managing to avoid trouble and retain her laptop despite the high crime rate of the area she lived in. At the age of 14 she was abducted by The Overseer and subjected to horrendous experiments for nearly three months, until she managed to escape Her facility and was left mentally and physically scarred for the rest of her life. Later on, due to trauma she started developing a twisted conception of justice along with homicidal tendencies which sparked off her crusade against those she deemed nefarious. At the age of 17 she managed to kill a local gang member and take his gun, and ever since she's made a name for herself as a vigilante. One day, she saved an individual from undergoing torture by killing an agent from a top secret Russian secret organization. After multiple attempts from the organization to take her out, they hired her as an assassin and for a few years she worked for them, however unbeknown to her the intentions of the organization were far darker than she initially thought...
