A child born in a wealthy family which owns the local electricity factories, Chris always had everything at his disposal. In school he is regarded as one of the popular kids, due to his relaxed nature and money. He is endlessly curious about the world around him, to the point where experiencing things just once satisfies him. However, this constant urge to experience something new has led him to some... rather immoral decisions according to some.
Being "friends" with a loser: how does it feel? How much shame does one bear for him? How would he be perceived for taking pity on another? One of his earlier "tests". He has no other aspirations but to experience life fully and he will do everything in his power to do so.

[ acquaintance ] An experiment that... had a good run. Chris never had actual feelings towards his "friendship" with Arin. It was never meant to be a mutual relationship. Arin was just something to pass the time with.
Mel
[ acquaintance ] Other than being just another boring classmate of his, Mel was the one who broke Arin's illusion. It was bothersome, but that was the end of it for him. People come and go, that's how it is.
Brocc
[ coincidence ] He seems to be the "cool kid" of his grade, similar to Chris, even if he's just a year younger. Chris isn't interested in his brand of "cuteness" since he doesn't even regard himself as a "cool kid". He chases no label. Brocc does. They are not the same.
