The Innkeeper is shrouded in mystery, but it's clear he is very powerful. He runs the Safehaiv Inn, a safe zone somehow found in every area of the Voidlands. The Safehaiv Inn acts as a rest stop where the player can save their game, and occasionally stock up on items or adjust their party. The Innkeeper is found sitting in an armchair reading a book. Talking to him will allow the player to save their game. When the party is defeated in the Voidland, the Innkeeper's familiar rescues them and transports them to the nearest Safehaiv Inn.
