Ashford is known as a powerful, noble, and judicious public figure while also being known for his care for the people and what laws might serve and greatly benefit them by keeping them safe and free.  Ashford is very close with the council members, communicating with them about any news or information their roles might give them and takes his work seriously, calculating out any risks. He frequently talks with Bram, Silas, Fidelity, and Devitt to get opinions and information. Ashford has close ties with Iris and is very brotherly protective of her and enjoys talking with her, he comes to her for opinions as well since he acknowledges that he needs heavy empathy in his decisions that Iris can give him. Ashford greatly despises Fennice and is abrasive towards him.
