The Guardian is a secondary form of The Author's, initially made for battle, though it's become more than that. She can often be found wandering worlds in this second skin as well, and her guilty pleasure is to take this form and go on long flying trips through the skies of both her worlds and others, enjoying the fulfillment of her longtime dream: to fly. While having two heads was more than a bit disorienting at first, she's long since adapted to this form and is just as comfortable in this second skin as she is her first.
Unlike with her original form, there's no need for The Author to hide herself as The Guardian, as she isn't known as the Creator of Worlds in her second skin. This leaves her free to go about her business, which she appreciates. It's not a perfect solution, given how eye-catching The Guardian is, but it works. In worlds where it doesn't, she simply blurs her true form into what is required to blend in.
