Shnoogle

A renegade group of scientists once tried to make an artificial lifeform that could surpass all of humanity... and they made Shnoogle.  Thought to be a failure, he was kept locked up in a lab.  In a fit of frustration, his latent powers awoke, and he blasted his way out.  Not knowing where to go, he kept running and running...  
...and eventually ran into a walking grape named Iggli.  Knowing a bit of human speech, he introduced himself as Shnoogle - a name he made up based on the sounds he likes to make.  He latched onto his new friend, who was also trying to find his own freedom, and the two have been inseperable ever since.

He's very young, so he has no control over his telekinesis and explosive laser abilities - they only come out when Shnoogle is at his absolute limit.  Despite being created around the same time Iggli was born, Shnoogle acts much younger than him.  This is due to the fact that he grows at an incredibly slow rate, so it'll take him longer to mature.  Perhaps at around 150, he'll start to be reasonable and be able to harness his abilities.  He is cursed to outlive his best friends... but will he outlive humanity itself?
