- Created 2013
- Koomi was the first snail Arvin encountered on his journey.
- Their shell and the mask is made of the same bone material. The mask starts as a simple plate that hides their eye from being exposed. Overtime, they change and carve the mask into a desirable form that appeals. The hair is a wig attached to the mask.
- They have 3 eyes - Their snail eyes, and their main eye beneath the mask. Staring too long into their eye can cause a horrible migraine.
- Is an old, primitive kind of demon and feared by many creatures for their power... They are almost impossible to kill.
- They can somewhat change their shape, usually taking on characteristics of small, cute animals such as limbs and tails that can attract humans. They have no bones, so their form falls apart easily
The snails are Arvin's familiars, acting as guides and protection while crossing different planes of the hyper-reality. Normally a very dangerous kind of place, but a natural kind of domain for these creatures; demons thrive well in chaos and ambiguity.
Arvin found Koomi the first time he crossed the threshold, and she became enamoured with him. Koomi felt attracted to Arvin's kind soul and spirit, committing to him as her primary host for her own pleasure.
Koomi can grant a kind of 'wish' (or curse... depending on perspective.). The snails have profound magical power to grant it, but the exchange is not always fair or without risk... She can grant either the ability to extract and erase a memory, or birth an oracle into your mind that sees and understands an aspect of another mind, or adopts their memories as your own. The side effects of these acts is immense.
