Chaos

Chaos is the navigator aboard Amur's ship, reading the stars with a skill that comes from vast experience. Before the fall of heaven, they were an astronomer; while these stars are much different than they studied, the principles are mostly the same. It's rumored that Chaos's affinity for the stars helps the ship, though this is an idea mainly circulated among the more superstitious crew members.

Chaos themself is not entirely pleasant to be around. They are smug, impersonal, and act entirely out of self-interest -- but they respect Amur, and they work with the rest of the crew. Their skills are indispensable enough that nobody objects to their presence on the crew.
