She loves and cares about them very much, they're her child.
She barely has any sort of authority over them as a mother though, because she has trouble saying no and as a result they're very spoiled.
They act more like older sister and little brother than a mother and her child.
They love her, though they barely hold any respect towards her as a parent. Francis is very spoiled and uncontrolable, so they argue often.
They feel neglected because she's so busy all the time, but they're too stubborn to say so, and they don't like feeling vulnerable.
Sister. They currently don't live together but she loves her very much. They talk whenever possible and Anima visits her often.
They're the siblings with the closest relationship in the family. Anima is very similar to Rubi when she was her age, so she often knows just what kind of things are interesting or fun to her.
Sister. Anima likes Rubi a lot and wishes they lived together. She thinks she's very fun to be around; their personality is very compatible and there's a lot of things they enjoy doing together.
They don't live together and as result they don't get into a lot of sibling fights, so Anima has kind of an idealized version of Rubi in her mind, which she admires a lot.
Dora is Rubi's role model, she adores her mother and aspires to be like her. She learned most of her skills from her and she's very thankful for that. She gets in contact with her as often as she can.
She doesn't open up to her mom much because she doesn't want her to worry about her or get involved in the trouble she's in.
Her eldest child, Dora is very proud of her for not giving up on her dreams and becoming the person she is now.
She does worry she's putting too much strain on herself, not just physically but mentally as well and not taking proper care of herself. "You can't solve every problem on the world and not every bad thing that happens is your fault, you just have to let it be sometimes." Is advice she often gives to her.
She was always resentful of him for not being there for her and only checking in to give his demands on how she should be and act. She cut all contact after she moved to Greenguard.
Doesn't have any ill will towards him but doesn't want him in her life.
He hasn't even met her children and if it depends on her, he never will.
He's disappointed in his daughter choices and everytime they talk he either throws backhanded remarks or outright guilt trips her for her choices. Of course, he loves her, but he's not very good at being a loving father.
He misses her but is too set in his ways to admit he was wrong and try to improve to be a part of her life again.
