Part of the Cure project, #FF99FF (aka Cure Pink)'s personality was recruited for the program due to her relaxing bedside manner and kind disposition. She was trained for work as a roboticist and a medical doctor, and programmed with a database of various standard and experimental surgery techniques. Her chassis is intended more for looking friendly than it is for robust construction, as her job typically has her interacting with patients and performing precision tasks that require little endurance or strength.
As she is the only Cure serving aboard the Cyberiad, many call her 'Cure' for short. If she even takes note of that, she's probably just a little flattered.
She'll do whatever it takes to help a patient, no matter who they are; but most of all, she prides herself on being reliable for fixing damaged or broken IPCs; she knows how it feels to suffer a half-baked or very late repair job because the roboticists are busy building mechs, and she wishes to help her fellow IPCs feel secure that there's someone looking out for them.
She enjoys medical experiments too, if a patient asks her to carry one out. She once participated in transplanting Idunn Raan's brain into an IRC chassis, just for the fun of it.
She's enthusiastic about building little robots to help around the station, and often gives them long-winded names reminiscent of the titles of magical girl characters, like "Shining Cubic Angel ~ Revival Ray" for a medibot.
