“Downward Spiral”, typically referred to as “DW Spiral”, is an alternate reality to canon. In this reality, Spiral erases Armaan Price from existence and never enters a romantic relationship with Coda and Sean. Alongside other elements in this world making his life worse, Spiral completely fell apart mentally and physically. He allowed his Light Poisoning (a strange sort of magical illness that gradually distorts a person's physical form and psychological state) to overtake him, and, due to his compromised psychological state, snapped. He used his reality-bending to alter reality to the point where the world had considerably ended. Everything became a distorted playground for the monster that called itself Spiral. In this reality, Spiral is feared by everyone on Earth, and is typically hidden from in order to ensure safety. His behavior is destructive, unpredictable, unstable, and sadistic. In this AU he also takes over Armaan Price’s castle home, trapping a poor Mae inside with him for years to come.
