Profile: The main trait of The Arsonist is that, at the cost of food, it can create a path of fire behind it while walking for a short time. This is particularly useful for stopping a stubborn enemy in their tracks or burning grounded creatures. While its bulky build makes it slightly slower than average slugcats, it protects it from its own flames as well as make it hardier and capable of taking hits. Its stripes are bioluminescent and will glow softly in dim light. It is omnivorous but capable of eating (relatively) smaller creatures like Lantern Mice, Scavengers, and Wolf Spiders. At best Scavengers will find The Arsonist a nuisance and at worst a genuine threat, which has lead to many scuffles between them. 

Personality: Just like the sparks it creates, The Arsonist has a fiery personality and is something of a prankster. Most of the time The Arsonist treats the world around them like a fun game where consequences don't exist. This has lead to many other creatures getting caught in worse and worse pranks from getting rocks dumped on them to being set horribly ablaze. Although most of its antics get it hurt or even killed in retribution, by the next cycle it's always back up and enacting the same schemes. Still, the slugcat never seems to hold any malice in its actions, and those who don't know of its tricks might find The Arsonist joyful company.  

The Arsonist has no interest in ascending. After all, there's no point in removing yourself from the cycle when you're having a pretty good time in it as is!
