Dominic

Dominic is a cocky- but not foolish- battlemage that works as a vast cog in the Miternian army. Though he was born and raised in Blickfallng (one of Mitern's more wavering allies), he snuck his way into the larger, more threatening Mitern conscription when wandering along the borders of Blickfallng's territories, taking to his new post quite well and appreciating the compensation for his magic studies, too.

He loves showing off his magic powers, and, these days, hates that the Miternian army was the reason he was able to properly cultivate his skills, and is quite vocal about this, if given the time of day to ramble!

More often than not he makes an ass of himself being aggravatingly egotistical, and outrageous depending on the company he takes up... And outside of his diversions, he seems to think everything is amusing rather than serious. As he's grown older, he's come to appreciate how far his behavior/attitude can take him rather than expounding all genuine effort in proving his mettle.

TRIVIA AND NOTES:
-Per Blickfallng conventions, his name is supposed to be said in one breath... But he's more Miternian than anything now, and likes just going by Dominic, or Dom.
-Dom actually got far within the ranks of the Mitern army (and took it fairly seriously in comparison to everything else he does now), but he didn't try hard enough to keep pushing himself further, and the higher-ups didn't like how smug he was, so they let him fall back with demotion after demotion, without being penalized for treason or treachery.
