Peperre is cold, alone, and lives in an abandoned observatory nooked in a series of indeterminable mountains. She is bitter, and has within the past few decades, broken free-- well, half free-- from a long-life prison entrapping her spirit. As she hasn't fully escaped, she exists only as a half body from the hips/waist-up, and wears a head covering that, despite it wrapped around her eyes, she can see through perfectly fine.

You would think that breaking fully free is her motivation-- but despite her loathing that she's unable to walk, she's found it far more convenient to travel through spacetime in her current, fairly weightless form. Sure she'd like to break out eventually, but for now, halfway has served her well enough. Her hatred for others, coupled with centuries deprived of social interaction, has led her to brew by herself, cut off and broken by a very brief childhood of toxicity and abuse. The only light that has kept her afloat is the remnants of her late mother; in desperation to regain what she's lost, she turns to trying to perfect and bring to life a being by her own hand, and teach them life. Unfortunately, this leads to an unhealthy obsession and possession of the being she steals pieces of others' souls to create; and she is not about to lose this time.
