A godling whose pride and joy comes from xyr status as a "gentleman thief". Arcanum has lived for centuries after a particularly antagonistic interaction with a once-slumbering goddess, and spends a vast majority of their time finding ways to entertain themselves while simultaneously inconveniencing the rich. A bit of a mischief-maker, but one that is easy to interact with and can be found to be quite pleasant company.

- Arcanum is a phantom thief from centuries past! They were originally human, and have since become a kind of godling.
- Their patron is the goddess Nyx, a primordial goddess of the night. Arcanum has taken to jokingly calling her 'mother', and the both of them have just accepted this.
- Arcanum can go about three weeks without sleep before needing it— more because he mentally needs it than because it's a physical need.
- He's pretty chill about... most things, admittedly
- While not typically recognized by humans as a deity, Arcanum has picked up the mantle of being a deity associated with theft, redirection, lost wanderers, and petty revenge.
- He has a close connection to: black cats of any kind, ravens and owls, and bats.

- Nyx ("mother"); Arcanum tends to take Nyx with a grain of salt most of the time. She's their mother figure purely due to her being his literal godly patron.
- Kronos (???); Another godling that's related to Nyx somehow. Is very thrilled by Arcanum's presence, even if he confuses Arcanum more than anything else.
- FRIENDS;;—
- Saria (friend); A very close and very old friend of his, who he attempts to see at least... somewhat on the regular. The two of them get along well and Arcanum treasures her friendship.
- Orphic (friend); A bit of a kindred spirit, Arcanum admires Orphic and the kind of person that they stubbornly stick to being— and he hopes that they'll warm him at the end of their next cycle.
- Alden (friend); The manifestation of the dream eater, Arcanum enjoys Alden's presence and has a fondness for their relationship, as odd as it is. The mutual exchange of information is useful, and Arcanum finds her and her view of the world such an interesting contrast to... well, his own.
- Adonis (friend); His funny little huntress! While Arcanum is a bit wary of her temperment, the two of them have a mutual relationship of oddity, and her curiosity is charming and endears her to xem.
- Elly (???); "Friend" doesn't quite feel like it fits the relationship that Arcanum has to this little ghost, but he is fond of her company and finds himself protective of her, not unlike a sibling.

- Sylvan (???); The two of them share a number of acquaintances, and Arcanum enjoys the few times that they've had proper conversations. That being said, xe highly doubts the two of them could be friends, but it isn't due to malice or disdain— differing opinions and whatnot.
- Thalia (acq); They deeply dislike Arcanum, and Arcanum is very aware of that animosity. Their shared love for Saria is their only real point of positivity, and their truce is built upon this.
- Griffon Bardakçı ( - ); He does not make pacts, and he cannot perform miracles. He is wary of this one.

- Arcanum's hair is messy and short save for ringles that hang near xyr face and hide their ears. If you move the ringlets away, his ears are partially covered with feathers.
- Arcanum's irises are so pale that they're nearly white. His pupils are gold. His right eye is covered by an eyepatch, and that eye is pretty thoroughly fucked up.
- He tends to wear layers: a tight underlayer, a button-up, and a coat of some kind over the top. He will usually wear a set of gloves at nearly all times, even when on their own.
- Arcanum is 5'11"!
- Arcanum cannot blush, and cannot cry. That being said, parts of his body can overheat + be dangerous to the touch when large amounts of ichor centralize in one place.
