More of an observer than anything, Emrys is a partially-mute ex-soldier with a habit for peoplewatching and a penchant for spooking people on accident. He's a gentle giant by nature, a protector and a nurturer more than the fighter he turned out to be, but a combination of awful RBF and a lack of functioning vocal-chords makes for an unfortunately intimidating figure to some. Comparable to a tree due to their roots in the ground, Emrys is a solid and reliable person with a bit of a stubborn streak.

- Emrys's full name is "Ambrose." He goes by Emrys at home, and often Emmett in most other places.
- Emrys's favourite food is shepherd's pie!
- Emrys has a service dog that he named "Sprinkles the Destroyer," who's just a little pomeranian. He cares about this dog so fucking much, yo.
- Emrys is selectively mute! He's physically capable of speech but has a mental block that means he speaks... rarely.
- He has a pretty consistent inventory, honestly. His wallet has all of his essential information in it.
- Emrys can run three miles with, like... no problem.
- He's mildly allergic to shellfish and bananas.
- Emrys is a bit of a smoker, and usually has a pack of cigarettes on him at all times, alongside the rest of his inventory. He doesn't smoke often, but functions under the "just in case" mentality.
Relationships
- FAMILY;;—
- Daniel Vaughn (grandfather); He’s a bit of a gruff old man by nature, but Daniel is Emrys’s legal guardian and also his biggest support. Since the incident, Emrys relies rather heavily on Daniel and has been living with him in the countryside for a while now, to re-acclimate himself back into living a more comfortable life. Daniel is supportive and protective, and can come across as overly blunt when it comes to his family, but he’s just defensive. Emrys appreciates him dearly.
- Astrid Vaughn (sister); Astrid is Emrys’s younger sister! The two of them were fairly close as children, but after the death of their parents they were separated in the foster system. Emrys spent their years apart worrying endlessly about her, up until he couldn’t, and he was overjoyed when he was informed that Astrid had been relocated to a foster family in southern Wales. He has the intentions of going to see her, soon.
- Sprinkles The Destroyer (service dog); Emrys is very fond of his funky little service dog. Emrys is heavily reliant on Lee, but he also makes it a point to take as good of care of the pomeranian as possible. His small size means that Emrys can carry him when necessary, and Sprinkles is heavily protective of his handler due to the severity of Emry’s necessity. All in all: He’s a Very Good Dog.
- Reece Vaughn (father - deceased); Reece died when Emrys was decently young, but the memories he does have of the man are relatively fond ones. He was the one who inspired Emrys’s enjoyment of dragons with the stories he would tell, but he also laid a responsibility on Emrys’s shoulder that he was unable to uphold.
- Tyra Vaughn (mother - deceased); Like her husband, Tyra died while Emrys was young. Similarly to his father, Emrys’s few clear memories of his mother are ones that he looks back on with fondness. She was Emrys’s protector in a way, and so Emrys feels her loss a bit more keenly due to losing that final barrier between himself and the world.
- FRIENDS;;—
- Jet Lastname; A very good friend! Emrys cares about him a lot and genuney enjoys his company. Jet has to deal with him being kind of an idiot sometimes, and Emrys appreciates it lots.
- Evie Flores; One of... the most important people in his life? One of his best friends? One of the two people who he absolutely adores that isn't related to him by blood... Emrys really, really cares about her. He'd like to protect her, if he can, even if she doesn't... need it, technically... He just. He cares. He loves her and Rikugo a lot.
- Rikugo; Where to even fucking start. It's a lot of feelings that he can't really put into words (hah), but he knows that Rikugo makes him happy. Rikugo is stubborn, yeah, but Emrys has stuck to him like glue and doesn't really intend to let go any time soon— after all, Emrys loves him unconditionally and just wants to be there for him. He's... so important. Emrys loves him and Evie a lot.
- Asuka Radcliff; The two of them are surprisingly good friends! They interact well and enjoy one anothers' company, and Emrys appreciates Asuka's quiet support as Emrys slowly tries to bring himself back into being a fully-functioning human being.
- Shiloh Barnes; She's a good girl, and Emrys appreciates her friendship a lot. They've had their bumps and rough patches, especially regarding Shiloh's... feelings regarding him, but he likes to think that they're beginning to smooth that over somewhat.

- Lucina Evans (...); Nothing but a bad reminder. He'd rather not have anything to do with her if he can help it.
- Ito Ran (acq); The two of them aren't friends, but he knows them through Astrid, and he appreciates seeing his sister have a friend, is all.
- Mona Grier (comrade); Another discharged soldier that Emrys was friends with. The two of them sometimes meet up.
- Jared Lewis (comrade); Another discharged soldier that Emrys was friends with. He meets up with Emrys and Mona sometimes.

- Emrys's eyes are green, but the pupils are yellow. Just a design choice.
- His hair always looks like he has bedhead. He's given up trying to tame it, because running a brush through it honestly doesn't really do anything to help..
- Beneath his eyes and over the top of his cheekbones, Emrys has an unexplained discoloration to the skin. The spots aren't any different than the rest of his skin other than the change in pigment color. They look like facepaint, honestly.
- Emrys is, like... surprisingly muscular, actually. Dude's actually sorta buff, which is accented by the fact that he's only 5'10".
- Emrys has moles! Just... kinda everywhere.
- He wears a watch all the time! He also usually has his hoodie on him a good chunk of the time, and gets somewhat fidgetty without it. Even if he isn't wearing it, he likes to know it's within reach.
- Emrys has a tattoo on the back of his neck, and another on his right bicep.
