˗ˏˋ History ˎˊ˗
Birth

Solis was born into the world without experiencing the warmth of a mother's hug. Her mother had passed away few moments after giving birth to Solis, and had used her remaining strength and mana to bless Solis. "Wherever you go, may you find solace in the sun, moon, stars and skies. Be blessed, my dear one."

As her mother poured her remaining mana into solis, her finger laid to rest on Solis' right eye. Unintentionally, this caused Solis' right eye to hold more magic power than the other, and could be used to appraise others with just a glance.

Childhood

Few hours after her birth, Solis was wailing loudly in her mother's cold arms. The sudden appearance of a being with such a large mana pool caught the interest of the mages who were residing in their towers nearby. Realising that Solis was the owner of the large mana, the mages took her in and raised her as one of their own after making sure that Solis had no guardian she could go to.

Ever since Solis could talk and walk, she was pressured to learn the basics of mana. The mages in the towers were all geniuses, and never raised a child of their own, so they didn't know when would be a good time to have her start learning magic. Even though Solis was a genius and had a large innate talent for magic, she was still only 2 by the time they started teaching her, so she didn't understand the fundementals until she was 4. In normal standards, it would've been a frightening age to have grasped it already, but Solis didn't feel that she was smart, and rather, she was looking down at herself because she was surrounded by geniuses.

Solis entered the academy at the age of 6, two years earlier than the rest of her peers. She was always alone, because she was younger yet smarter than the majority of her classmates. This caused people to harbour resentment and hostility against her, under the guise of "respect". In her third year, she began to make her first friend ever, Hikito. Hikito had entered a year earlier than normal students, and was singled out just like Solis. They began to hang out and talk more.

When Solis finished her final sixth year at the academy, she graduated with the highest honours in magic. She was accepted into the tower of mages right after graduating due to being raised and praised for magic there. Here, she soon lost connection and communication to things going on in the outside world, thus growing apart from Hikito.

working as a mage

after her graduation, Solis dedicated herself into magic research. She was assigned to the Sun Tower because of her strong capability in the power of Sol, which was rare. With the power of the sun, you could do all sorts of neat things. You could make rocks reflect sunlight to act like a small moon, or you could burn things if you concentrated a large amount of sol together. There are also other things, such as growing a plant inside but supplying it with sol so that it could grow healthily.

Hikito Alburn
childhood friend

The only friend around her age that Solis has. Because of how she was brought up by the elderly mages in the towers, Solis often tried to act more mature than she really was. This made her peers distance themselves from her because they respected her and didn't think they were worthy of being a mature genius' friend. Luckily, there was someone who had similar traits to her, and that was Hikito. He was mature, cold, and smart. They had no issue in holding back when discussing about magic, and Solis always liked how she could freely speak with him, someone of her caliber.

Unfortunately, when Solis graduated from the academy early at the age of 13 and was hired as a mage of the Sol (Sun) Tower, they grew apart. Later on, when she was 15, Hikito entered the Fire Tower as a secretary. Solis has tried to strike up a conversation with him but was met with refusal and cold, short replies.

Sidus Astrum, "Hoshi"
Assistant / Secretary

Hired secretary, but is quite competent in both housework and paperwork, so he usually does more than just managing papers and schedules like other secretaries, such as running errands and chores.

Cerise Llyamodavich
co-worker / acquaintance

Solis has heard a lot about Cerise when she inquired about Hikito's wellbeing, because Cerise is who he works as a secretary for.

Solis has never had a one-on-one conversation with Cerise, only exchanging brief greetings whenever they met. Solis doesn't think too much of Cerise, and only sees her as an acquaintance who her childhood friend works with.

Ysern Lumen
younger brother figure

Ysern is a talented genius comparable to Solis. Similarly, both handle the rare and mysterious astral element. Though Ysern is the heir to the Moon Tower and Solis is the heir to the Sun Tower, both have the same mentor who can handle both powers. Solis sees Ysern as a mischievious younger brother as they both have spent a majority of their lives living under their mentor's care. She cherishes him dearly, however will not hesitate to plummet him into a ground for a good beating when he causes trouble (plus, she knows he's strong enough to not suffer as much as the average human).
