Flannery is considered to be rather reserved in nature, if not shy. Observant to the quirks and mannerisms of others, the female is a big fan of people watching and based on what she sees, determines if the woman will interact with them or not. While she is aware that is rather judgmental of her to do so, Flannery isn't narrow minded and often doesn't give first impressions much thought when determining the worth of a person. With those that manage to befriend her, Flannery tends to display a more affectionate approach to dealing with people. Much more talkative with people she's comfortable around, the woman displays a humorous disposition to her, though often sly in her jokes Flannery lives for laughter and is quite happy when she manages to elicit a few. Passionate in her beliefs and convictions, Flannery has no problem in voicing her thoughts when she feels the need to put her foot down and many are surprised to hear such a strong and outspoken voice come from such a frail looking woman. However due to her strong convictions, Flannery can be rather stubborn in terms of thinking making it nearly impossible to sway her opinions on certain matters. Attempting to do so will on reveal her short tempered nature as she hates to be bugged, something she will not hesitate to tell you. Her coarse way of speaking often turns people off which is why she's usually careful with words. However once her patience runs thin her filter tends to turn off.
Ability
Flannery's ability allows her to manipulate the pain sensors in herself and others, allowing her to induce pain or numb it. She is decent at hand to hand combat and has been noted to have quite high endurance due to using her ability to limit the ammount of pain she feels. A noticable part of her ability is that she recieves a tremedous boost to her physical prowess thanks to adrenaline that is constantly released through her body that makes her seem subhuman. She is easily able to crumble walls and send things flying that are twice her weight. However she cannot use this portion of her ability for long lest she want to wants to suffer from adrenal overdose. She becomes extremely exahausted once this part of her ability wears off.
Trivia
- Flannery tends to send half of her earnings to her mother. While they aren't on speaking terms, she still wants to make sure she's okay.
- Is an avid fan of peacocks. She tends to doodle them a lot.

Design
Summary
Flannery was born in Savannah Georgia. An only child, the beginning of her childhood was relatively calm as her days consisted of going to school and keeping to herself with her writings and drawings. Because her mother was often away due to work, Flannery developed an especially close relationship with her father who she considered her closest friend. At the age of fifteen, she would lose her father to illness, the same illness she herself would later develop. Both her and her mother were devastated by the loss, her mother became scared at the thought of losing her only child the same way she lost her husband. As a result, her mother became more protective of her and sympatehic to her reasons, Flannery allowed her.
Quite restricted in what she was allowed to do and go, Flannery spent most of her time in her room due to her mother's fear of spomething terrible happening if she was to leave her sight. While she complied orginally, Flannery soon became increasing frustrated with how overbearing her mother has become and attempted to run away when she was seventeen. It was unsuccessful however as she was unable to get far, her mother locked her in her room with the belief that she was simply protecting her from harm. Livid at being locked in, Flannery soon began to plan another runaway attempt. Shortly after turning eighteen, Flannery used her ability to incapacite her mother before running away into the night. After leaving Georgia, she would spend a year wandering aimlessly before meeting and befriending William Faukner who would persuade her to join the guild in order to earn some money.

Upon their first meeting, Flannery couldn't help but be a bit wary of the older male. Finding his proud nature quite tedious, Flannery has shown to dislike him at first as she was only polite to him due to the facts that he was her boss and William's friend. Fitzgerald himself didn't think much of her; her delicate look make him wonder just how useful she would be to his plans causing him to keep her around doing menial tasks as a favor to William. Flannery catches onto this pretty quickly and snapped at him for it, much to his surprise. Demanding that she be given something that will allowed her to prove her skills, Flannery was slightly shocked when he agreed to do so and was quick to show Fitzgerald that she was indeed useful which was a pleasent surprise to the older male. While the two started off on bad terms, though this was mainly in Flannery's case, overtime the woman realizes that the man is not as bad she thought he was and grew to respect bits of him as he was one of the few that didn't give her special treatment due to her illness and let her stand on equal ground.
William Faulkner

Meeting in the states, the two have an extremely close relationship as he was the one who suggest for her to join the guild in the first place in order for her to earn some money. Flannery respects William for treating her no differently than the others and as such is rather nice to him much to the surprise of others. While she generally has no problem with him, she does dislike that he smokes so much as she often complains that he reeks.
John Steinbeck

Upon first impressions, Flannery was slightly wary of him. While their first meeting wasn't bad, the woman found herself unable to make heads of the male and his friendliness with her only helped her in shying away from him. John didn't take this to heart however and tried to chat her up whenever he got the chance and while Flannery often shut him down whenever this occured, she eventually warmed up to him, abit begrudgingly, as they were sometimes paired together for missions. While Flannery attempted to be friendly with him to the best of her ability, as Williman told her that her fellow guild members weren't bad people so she shouldn't be so wary of them, the woman couldn't stop herself from asking why he goes out of his way to speak with her when she is not a social person and rather rude at that to which he usually replies that it's simply in his nature to do so.
Over time Flannery herself became used to John's presence and she soon seeked him out. While Flannery wouldn't admit it to, she simply liked his company compared to others and enjoyed talking to him as she found him relaxing. Likewise John also grew to like her company as her blunt way of speaking was both refeshing and amusing, especially when she catches herself and grows flustered because of it. This results in a lot of harmless teasing from John because of it and while Flannery often appears annoyed, she actually quite likes it and often pokes back when in the mood. The only time they seem to not get along is when Flannery's wellbeing is placed into question as John prefers that she doesn't fight while Flannery wants to be on the front line instead of placed out of harms way like a damesel in distress. These quips would often lead to passive agressive comments between the two and bouts of the silent treatment but usually the two come together in order to apologize for thier behaviors. Overtime they two work to overcome this problem as John comes to terms with the fact that she can handle herself and Flannery not longer percieves his worry as a sign of weakness.
It doesn't take long for Flannery to see him in a more romantic light as the male's kindness in regards to her always made her feel a bit bashful and the fact that he was one of the few to not treat her as something that could be easily broken, even if it was slow to come by, made her view him a bit differently. While John never outwardly shown a interest that went beyond guild mates, it was obvious that he had a soft spot for her in the way he treated the redhead. After the fall of the guild, John mentions his plan of creating a new orginazation and is greatly surprise when she meets him before he leaves, silently signifying that she wanted to be with him.
