story

The name basically describes it: Petya can see ghosts. They can talk to him if they want, but for the most part they're just there, doing their own thing. Notables include his parents (died when he was 5), his youngest nephew (drowned when Petya was 15 or so), and of course Pavel, who is the only one who really talks. He mostly keeps this 'power' a secret, with Pavel being the only ones who knew. Occasionally he'll also see the ghosts of random people wandering around, but he can't interact with them unless he knew them personally. It's a rather useless power TBH, because all Pavel does is make inappropriate jokes, and all his parents do is silently judge their son's life choices.

Ghosts themselves can't do much beyond communicate telepathically with the small population who can see them and move objects around (but only if nobody is watching - it's a weird power). Since the majority of humans aren't able to see them, most ghosts spend their time in the ghost world, which is the same as the living world, but just on a different plane. Ghost appear in the clothing they died in, and have a blue glow around them. The place on their body they were wounded (ex: heart for a heart attack, stab wounds, lungs for somebody who drowned) glows the brightest.

Pavel mostly just hangs around making dumb jokes and generally trying to cheer Petya up. Being invisible to most everybody has it's perks though, as he can mess with the a-holes of the world by rearranging their belongs into... fallic shapes.
