Geze's Links
There only is a fact of life and that is that we all die. But knowing there is a just god that will bring them forth in a new life brings a lot of comfort. Everything that Geze has been taught and experienced first hand has only strengthen his believe in the deity and what they stand for. Truly it makes Geze proud to carry some of the similarities and that he continues to aid him in this quest to bring justice. Even if the god terrifies him more and more.
How to properly word how Geze feels about Waker. He loves her to bits even if their friendship has had it's hardships. But he can never deny that he cares very deeply about her and would protect her with his life. She was there for him when he needed it most and never has been scared to put him in his place when he was being stupid. Things like that he can look at and understand, even if the yelling at the time really did hurt him badly. She is a lady that carries herself with confidence and grace but also can put people in their place. But the one thing Geze can get lost in, is just seeing her smile. Just seeing her with her violin and playing music. He's a big sap like that. Waker just means the world to him.
OH! Waker remembers Geze! It was ages ago, in the village of Eramoore! He sure knows how to get into trouble and get framed for a crime which wasn't them, but Waker KNEW this, and thusly broke them OUT of jail! AND caught the wizard responsible! They're quiet and hard to judge, but they seemed grateful with Waker's help, and she respects their ability to hold strong in stressful situations! They were more violent than what she remembers, but maybe she can bring them down to relax! It's apparent they have a soft side when not around incompetence, and hey, Waker's ready to be at their side if they need help!
In the beginning Geze really struggled to just understand Ferem and the way he behaved. He always had the backs of the group but besides that he, for a while was a bit of a mystery. But with the time passing and the working together, Geze has really come to appreciate the paladin. He is a good man that stands firmly in his boots and has been able to move on from a bad situation. Geze still isn't entirely sure what it was, but the change in who they worshiped really seemed to help in that regard. Ferem really has become somebody that Geze admires for standing his ground no matter what. He is a good man that has and will continue to change the lives of many just by being crossing paths with them.
Geze was the first of the party that he met, and honestly he's not.. entirely sure what to make of the man. Their determination and desire to kill the bandits they fought unnerves him to the point where he doesn't know what he can trust them with. To guard his and the others back is one thing, but he can see them lashing out at people for the slightest mistake... well. Suffice to say, he will keep his eyes on him.
After all that is said and done, Nalivka was a force of nature to be reckoned with. Wild in her opinions, knowledge and brute strength. Always blunt and to the point speaking what was on her mind and not holding back. She had proven over and over again that she was there ready to protect the party and make sure they didn't get hurt. Geze just really appreciates that she was there till the end. Going at Reina with all her might and never backing down. Nalivka is fierce and somebody Geze will absolutely turn to if he were to ever need help.
Geze is probably the person Nalivka has learnt the least about... other than the fact they're posh.... and transforming into something that's less and less of an inkdrian. At first he was aggressive towards people for no reason, and it threw her off immediately.
She's determined she likes NONE of those things.
...
Despite that, he helped bring the team to the goal, and never held back with his magic to aid them. She doesn't like his background, and doesn't quite know if she'd consider him a FRIEND, but on the battlefield she'd trust him no problem to have each others' backs.
And he seems like a person who, similarly to her, would appreciate peace and quiet. 'Cause it's GREAT. Probably while doing some nerdy stuff. Like reading. Regardless, he's welcome to get as much of that as he needs at Nalivka's camp whenever he'd like. ...As long as he's not smelling of an aberration.
He loosely remembers Castiel. It has been bloody 15-ish years since he last saw the other noble. And Geze vividly remembers how nervous and uncomfortable he seemed. Such a stark contrast between him and that skinny brother. The fact is though, he probably was one of his few childhood 'friends'. Friends being fairly lose due to how rarely they saw each other. Still, they both had insecurities at the time and he really was the best person Geze could talk to. Part of him feels bad for never reaching out to Cas since leaving home. Hopefully he is doing well out there.
In honesty he can only barely remember the face of the oldest daughter of the Anur house. A little bright and obedient kid much like he was himself at the time. So the fact that his parents decided to arrange a wedding between them for the moment she is found and returned home is baffeling.
Things are a bit complicated here. Geze vaguely knows about Asa. I mean how can you miss spotting an entire pregnancy of your parent? Kinda really hard and nearly impossible really. 9 Months and than suddenly there was nothing. Even with Geze being just 8, it didn't sit right with him. Yeah he had asked his parents about it. But it was clear in their eyes and actions that lies were put forth. 'The baby was still born'. No it wasn't. There is more going on and if he gets back in contact with his parents and starts mending the tears, this will be one of the big mysteries he wants the details on.
Having crossed paths with this ink was interesting. It also was nice to traveling along side a younger ink who seemed that smidgen lost with just a sword. Still it was nice to not travel all alone and have somebody to at least talk to. He hopes that she is doing well these days!
Sil was the nerdy and peppy kid that works on every-bodies nerves. Yeah sure he was smart and knew what he was doing. But lords he was one annoying child. The only reason Geze interacted with him was purely because of their parents kinda mushing all the kids together to entertain themselves. Geze doesn't hate him or anything, he really was part of his childhood. Honestly has no idea what he is up to these days anymore, just hopes he isn't that annoying kid anymore.
Arguably the biggest gap age wise between her and the other Esmusel kids and Geze. Yet the they got along well enough. She really seemed to balance out her brothers, being a lot more generally happy and aiding people. But at the same time, there always was something about her that didn't sit entirely right with him. Ever since she was little and introduced to him. But it really took a nose dive when she started getting her colors. Like everything just got worse and worse. In the end, she unsettled him way too badly compared to when they had just met.
Geze used to have a lot more of a negative opinion of Erin. Specially at the start when she and Silver were keeping their distance so much. Why let children do scouting work? It just seemed wrong. But the more he got to learn about her, the more he understood and worried. Holding onto parents even when so much bad things have happened... Yeah ouch. It's good to see that everything is over and hopefully she can now finally start moving on with her family. He hopes she is doing well these days.
Erin never really could read Geze very well, but she always figured that perhaps she didn't need to. Despite his worrying figure of worship, coupled with his frightening new appearance, he was always there, always willing to help, and never lost his temper, which is.. more than she can say, certainly. While Erin may have never been about to get a grasp on Geze, she was always amazed (and maybe slightly afraid. She was at that mansion and saw him in action) by his power, but she always loved it when he would come back to base and show a little softer side around his little dino. She.. also heard in detail about what happened with Reina after all was said and done, she is forever grateful that Geze saved Piper from the brink of death. She will never be able to thank him enough for saving her family.
