Physical Appearance

• Very long goldenrod hair tied up into multiple braids, both loose hanging and layered on her head; bangs swept to her right

• Freckles throughout body, particular on her face

Clothing Style

Suri's outfits are all handmade by her, and she gravitates toward green colored materials since she spends most of her time in the forest. Her outfits aren't necessarily made to camouflage herself better, it's just that she really likes green. She typically wears a dark green bottom layer including a strapless top, a bikini bottom, and long socks of sorts tied up with leather bands. Over this she wears a cropped green top with a cowl neckline, somewhat open sleeves at the upper arm, and has very loose/open lower sleeves that have braided leather bands holding them up below the elbows. She wears a matching green cloth around her hips like a short sarong, and for footwear she wears something similar to Roman sandals that are made of the same type of leather that holds up her socks.

Her accessories are rather minimal, and she tends to wear only some simple leather choker necklaces along with a regular handmade necklace with large green beads along with smaller brown beads. Although not always, she will sometimes add more accessories to her numerous braids when she feels like working on them. She also wears a dark green cloak that is lighter green on the inside.

Personality

Suri is an optimistic and rather quirky woman who lives in nature and is self-sufficient. It's obvious she's a highly resourceful and intelligent individual, yet those who currently know her don't always understand the magnitude of her intellect since she doesn't speak any of the native languages aside from a few words or phrases. Despite being a foreigner who is a little tricky to understand, she's very clever with finding ways to convey herself without words or writing. Her body language is very expressive and she tends to wear her heart on her sleeve, both because it's easy for others to read her meaning and also because she just likes being honest about her feelings. She usually seems to be in a good mood and takes enjoyment in figuring out solutions to any problems that arise in her life. She also seems to be quite fearless in tackling any unfamiliar problems or situations, yet she's not reckless and always takes the time to quickly analyze the environment and formulate a plan of action.

On first impressions, Suri might seem like a simple and somewhat primitive wild woman, yet she fully understands how modern society works and how to interact with others. She simply chooses not to in most cases, but the few times she goes into towns she doesn't have any problems with knowing how things work there. The only trickiness arises since she can't speak the native language of this region fluently, but it doesn't keep her from finding other means of communicating with others. Suri's lifestyle of living in the wild and providing for herself is simply how she prefers to do things, and she doesn't appreciate others assuming she can't understand things. Toward certain people or creatures, she can get a little motherly toward them, especially if her first impression of them is that they are small and vulnerable. She enjoys picking up creatures or people who are smaller than her, and she'll tend to be protective of those who she thinks are unable to take care of themselves.

• Can understand the human dialect of the Empire, but only speaks it on a basic level and fluently speaks an entirely foreign human dialect instead

• Tends to get into other people's personal bubbles frequently and is very touchy feely with everything/everyone
• Stubborn, usually doesn't work well in groups, and tends to follow her own plans/agenda

Backstory

Not much is known about Suri's background, or at least to the people of this region. She seems to come from another land and doesn't speak any of the local languages fluently yet. However, she's gotten accustomed to the new environment and is occasionally seen passing through small human villages/towns to trade resources before returning to the forest. In recent years, the human kingdom has expanded into an empire and controls the region with an iron grip. Although Suri hasn't realized they've been invading and conquering all the other kingdoms of differing races, she has noticed that even some of the humans in smaller towns are living in fear. Strange mechanical soldiers patrol everywhere, hunting down anything inhuman and frightening the humans into obedience to the empire. Suri has lately gotten very skilled at fighting these machines and dismantling them to use their parts in crafting new tools for herself.

Aside from adjusting to the new weird robots that now are all over the place, Suri hasn't changed much of her routine. One day though, she encounters a strange creature she's never seen anything like before: a dark elf, fleeing from pursuing mechanical soldiers. After dispatching the machines, Suri has taken up tending to the severely injured dark elf, whose name she learned is Darcanas. Although the two are completely incapable of understanding each other's language, they are both certain that neither of them like the empire's machines. Suri's not sure what the elf's motivations are, but she's following him around since he probably can't take care of himself while he's recovering.
