Badgerstep is a huge, long-furred, black and white spotted tom-cat with blue eyes. He has several scars on his body, notably his face, side, shoulder, and foot. He has a deep, rumbling but good natured voice.

Badgerstep is a loud cat, one can always hear him coming. He is good-natured and charismatic, and because of that he is well loved by his colony. He is confident in himself and his skills.
Badgerstep is a respected cat in Cliff Colony. He has many friends, and many more both within and outside the colony that respect him both as a brute and a cat. His goal is to be the head brute after Singed Whisker.

Although he's her only kit, they aren't close or familial at all. Their relationship is strictly colony orientated.
Though Flint has now passed, he was closer to Flint than he is Ink Shade. Though he regrets his father's death, he accepts that death is a part of life.
Badgerstep and Morel are very close, constantly working together. They've been friends and mates since they were both apprentices.
