Out of everyone in the group Ava is mostly here to have a good time with some friends. She's an alright shadowhunter, not the best, but that's not why she hangs out with everybody.. She's more there for the stuff they do when they're not patrolling. Ava is best friends with Mattias who holds this same kind of mindset. She doesn't really care about the relationship drama that happens in the group, but she hopes that Mattias will finally nut-up one day and confess to Theron. She just wants to play DnD and make stupid jokes with her friends.fe.
She was found and brought in by the shadowhunters after her friend group back home were attacked by vampires. She was the only one with The Sight who saw what they really were, and the nephilim offered to train her at the academy. She accepted, wanting to be able to protect herself from something the majority of people could not. Her parents were told she was going to an exclusive art school.
