StarClan

The archangels are the highest-ranking circle in StarClan, formed of the founders of the focal clans. They're in charge of granting the most important visions and prophecies. They bear a heavy and abhorrent responsibility, though the details are known to them alone.

Archangels look outwardly identical to normal spirits, but they have an indifference toward the passage of time. They can live an age and remain just as steadfast in their yearning. Though they may act friendly and personable, they're removed from time in a way that can be disconcerting.

The angels are spirits of StarClan who directly serve the archangels. They're privy to knowledge that other spirits aren't. Unlike the archangels, the angels' long lives of servitude can take a toll on their psyches.

Though any StarClan spirit with enough willpower can perform miracles, angels are capable of using much more power. Their most eye-catching ability is the power to give themselves wings and halos.

The virtues are spirits who are granted respect for one reason or another, be it for old age or achievements in life. They perform tasks issued by the angels to help the living clans. They may be promoted to angelic status.

The spirits of StarClan live in harmony regardless of clan affiliations in life. They watch over their descendants and protect the living clans. Once enough time has passed, they fade away.

Cats from clans outside the focal clans can join StarClan, but they usually have less power.
